What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting and working with new people every day, whether that's chatting over the details of an exciting event or really getting to know what makes an entrepreneur tick to really get a meaningful portrait, every day is different, interesting and fun. I do also have a lot of returning clients who have used me as their photographer for years, which is extremely rewarding and gives me the satisfaction of knowing I am delivering my clients' requirements. It's also nice to work with some familiar faces as well!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to have a 9 to 5 in IT but was never really content. I got my first SLR camera when I was sixteen and always had photography as my hobby but after being asked by a headteacher friend to do some pre-school portraits I realised I could do what I loved for a living! I continued working my day job while also working part-time as an event and portrait photographer and steadily building my portfolio. I then saw an ad for Expedition Photographer with Raleigh International in Borneo and jumped at the chance to work for 3 months in the jungle, documenting voluntary project work all throughout the state of Sabah. Armed with a wealth of experience from Borneo and a few spreads in their national newspapers, I returned to the UK, left my job and started my business. It was the best move I made, not only because I do what I love for a living and I have been my own boss since 2011 but I also met my wife in Borneo. We now have 2 little boys and love life by the sea in Brighton.

Yes, I am able to receive products through the post or hand-delivered for shooting at my home studio. These can then be returned by post or collected.

I am an event photographer since 2008 and have a vast amount of experience shooting large scale events, black-tie dinners, award ceremonies, golfing and go-karting days and much more. A lot of work has gone into organising your event - rest assured it will be covered in its entirety.
