I can't find a single thing wrong with my experience here, other than there being a fairly large party with a few screaming children, but that's no fault of the restaurant. ..We were greeted & seated by the owner/chef. We ordered drinks and they came within a reasonable amount of time. My basil lemon drop was really good and I was actually relieved there was no sugar rim (because I'd forgotten to ask for no sugared rim...)! Â I ordered the cesar salad and the prawn appetizer (forgot the name of it... sorry...). Â The salad was delicious! Â My ONLY feedback would be that I wish the anchovy was mixed in with the dressing instead of me having to mash it up to spread it around. Â The prawns appetizer - SO SO good!! Â There were 5 prawns and about 4-5 thin slices of baguettes that were crostini-like. They were perfect for dipping in the sauce the prawns were in. I seriously enjoyed my meal and look forward to coming back and ordering off the main course menu! More...

Fantastic experience from start to finish! We arrived close to closing time and they were still so welcoming. The food was beautifully served and delicious. We tried one of the more traditional Turkish dishes and paired it with the seafood pasta, and enjoyed the profiteroles for dessert. I would recommend all of them. The Chef stopped by the table and genuinely wanted to know our feedback and how we enjoyed our meal. It's clear he enjoys what he does! We will definitely be back and have already recommended the place to friends to host parties (they have a big back room and there's no rental room fee)! More...

Great experience at Ada's. We went during WildLights at Woodland Park Zoos holiday event just two nights ago, and the restaurant was about to close but they accommodated us graciously. We came here on a Sunday night while visiting family in Seattle. Service was very friendly and the chef came out to check in on the food. It was a quiet night but there were several other parties in the restaurant. Ambiance is nice -- good for a date night but you also don't feel awkward if you're dressed casually. We ordered the lentil soup and stuffed eggplant (one vegan, the other with beef). Everything was delicious and satisfying. Seems like a hidden gem. Came here with my family and it was SUCH a treat!! Every dish that came out looked gorgeous and tasted even better. Not pictured here, but also delicious, was the eggplant and the stuffed ravioli (I must have been so excited to eat them that I forgot to document! ) The service was excellent as well! Our server was extremely attentive and warm -- making for an unforgettable dining experience. The chef's food has me wanting to try more Turkish food, though Ada's will surely he hard to beat. We stumbled upon this little gem Saturday evening, and we're so glad we did!  We had been to the Wild Mushroom Show and were not dressed for fine dining, but we were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. The service was friendly and prompt, and the décor is modern, fresh and very appealing.  Everything we tried was delicious, and we will definitely return soon to sample more of their extensive menu.  We're adding this to our list of "special occasion" restaurants.  If you're in the Phinney/Greenwood area and looking for a superb dining experience, try Ada's! Delicious dinner at Ada's tonight. What a pleasure to dine and actually be able to hear the person across the table. I enjoyed the stuffed eggplant and my date raved about his spiedini (shishkabab). Great cocktails and excellent service made it a special evening. The prices are a little on the high side but fine for a treat. Next time I might try happy hour or small plates. Can't wait to return. My husband and I stumbled upon Adas and I am SO happy that we did! It's a cute and quaint restaurant that has a lovely, romantic atmosphere. The server was extremely friendly and gave us wonderful suggestions. Everything from the wine to our entrees were exceptional. I had the pan seared scallops and they were Cooked to perfection. Another birthday celebration and wanted to check out Adas. So glad we did, it's just too bad we were the only table all night on a Sunday night. Everything we ordered was superb! Since we were the only table we had excellent service, and the scoop on the owner and his background. Please Phinney Ridge neighborhood and anyone else reading this review- go try and support this restaurant out!We ordered burrata and heirloom tomato, tuna tartare with taro chips, stuffed eggplant, and roasted duck appetizer. All so fresh and amazing! Definitely try the tuna!I let the server decide on which dessert to bring me- the tiramisu, or the baklava made with pistachio He brings me both and one is for my birthday!!! This place is a sleeper. Â It was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. Â The service was excellent. Â The server/bartender was quite knowledgable and helpful. We started with a tuna tartar appetizer. Â It was well-plated and tasty with taro root chips.I had Copper River king salmon with buerre blanc sauce. Â At $30, it was a steal! Â I would have wished for more than two spears of asparagus to go with it, but the salmon was buttery soft and delicious.My wife had a ground meat stuffed eggplant. What a find! We were looking for late dinner close by. Our daughter and her husband live in Ballard. We stumbled upon Alda, existing name with a new owner and Chef. It was exquisite, the filet was the best we've ever had. The traditional Turkish kebab was out of this world. I could keep going, great affordable wine list. Had a fabulous dinner tonight at Ada's - highly recommend! The menu has a great selection of small plates and full entrees. Our favorites were the steak flatbread, clams, salmon cakes, and seasonal bread pudding. If you're in Phinney/Greenwood (or any other neighborhood, for that matter) this is a great spot and not to be missed! Also had great service and super quaint atmosphere. A+! More...

We had a 70th Birthday Party celebration last night at Ada's and it was wonderful! Â They have a small room that we could have all to ourselves. Perfect from every angle - atmosphere (cozy), presentation, food preparation, flavors, and wait and kitchen staff friendliness. My fiancé and I ordered the caesar salad and the ahi tuna and king salmon entree's, all superb and delicious. The only quibble I have is that the caesar dressing was sweet which seemed a mismatch.
