Booked airlink to take me and a group of lads to a stag do in newcastle, Driver was there 5 mins before. The driver stayed in newcastle and offered to go out of his way to take us out later on in the night.

We found ourselves in need of an airport transfer after finding that the car parking prices at Liverpool John Lennon had increased compared to our last holiday. We go away as a big gang, with 11 of us in total needing to get there, so it meant taking 3 cars or trying to find somewhere to accommodate us minibus-wise. We found that Airlink was one of the only few locally with a 12 seater minibus and we rang up to get it sorted. A polite lady took all our details and told us the price, which was very fair, at just £11 a head for both directions, with car parking working out at £15 each. I appreciate that that doesn't sound like a big difference, but when you think of it as £33 rather than £45 for a family of three, the saving is pretty substantial. On the morning of our holiday, a very friendly lady was driving our minibus and chatted to us all the way there about various things. It really got our holiday off to a good start as she made us all feel welcome and at ease, which is no mean feat at 3 o'clock in the morning! We arrived just across from the airport doors with plenty of time to check in and in good time too as we live about 40 minutes from John Lennon.When we got back off our holiday, I rang the number as we got off the plane. I was told that the 12 seater minibus had been used to go to Manchester airport for another pick up of a flight that had been delayed by 3 hours, but not to worry, we would have enough space for everyone and luggage to get back home. As we walked out the door, there was a 7 seater minibus and a 4 seater car waiting for us, no hassle or bother and it was as easy as if the 12 seater minibus had arrived. It actually worked out better for us and some people were going to another house so they got into the car while the rest of us could fit in the minibus.Overall we were really impressed with the quality of the vehicles and the service we received. What could have been a disaster ended up working in our favour, and the situation was clearly explained to us. The staff were lovely and the value for money was really good too. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable airport transfer in the North West and will be using them again in the future! More...
