After discovering I had a wasps nest I contacted APC. I left a message at about 7pm and was contacted 20 minutes later by Shaun,he offered to come out the next day at 2pm. A chap arrived as agreed and dealt with the nest and advised us on what to expect over the next 48 hours. They were very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I had originally employed the services of a national pest control company in mid January and spent a lot of money removing the rats e. g. cctv camera in our sewage pipe to identify the entry point, rat flap, rat traps and rat poison 'that they couldn't resist, but did' the rats appeared to disappear after 2 months. However, I was left feeling very uneasy that the problem hadn't been solved. I called on Shawn to clean up the loft space this week and he promptly turned up. Almost immediately he said we hadn't had rats but it had been squirrels!! He came round today, blocked the entry points in our roof and replaced the soiled insulation.
