Dr Eileen Zhuo first started treating me for pms and is now helping me through menopause. Through acupuncture and herbs this has been the only thing that has worked for me. I was in an auto accident and she treated my whiplash with cupping and it was amazing how it took the pain away. I received such amazing care from Dr. Zhou. During my pregnancy, I went to one of the larger OB groups in the Twin Cities, and saw a different person at each visit. I work in healthcare, and so I didn't think it was very important to me to have continuity of care with one provider. However, looking back, I realize how wonderful it was for me to feel supported by a healthcare provider who was personally invested in my well-being during my pregnancy, and that person was Dr. Zhou. I felt like she really cared about me, and the health of our sweet little one. I'm so grateful for her care. I have only been seeing Dr Zhou for a couple of weeks but I already look forward to my weekly sessions. I am not only looking to help cycle regularity but it’s a nice way to de-stress too! Great place and I highly recommend! Edit: I struggled with infertility and used medication to get pregnant for my first three pregnancies(multiple cycles each time). Because of the chance of multiples with infertility we decided to stop at 3 kids but we’re not against 4. I started seeing Dr Zhou just to get a cycle on my own per my OBGyns recommendation (in place of birth control). Within 6 weeks I had the first cycle on my own-something I haven’t had since I was a teenager! And when the second cycle didn’t come I took a pregnancy test and we were pregnant with baby number 4! I have been seeing Dr. Zhou for infertility since January. She is extremely knowledgeable and cares about her patients’ health journey. I suffer from extremely painful menstrual cramps (suspected endometriosis) and since starting acupuncture and taking Chinese herbs prescribed by Dr. Zhou, my pain level has significantly decreased. I was desperately looking for a natural way to get pregnant at 40, and Dr. Zhuo helped. She had me taking a boat load of supplements and Chinese herbs, and weekly accupuncture, but after 6 weeks, I was pregnant, and now I'm at 6 months and things seem to be going well. She is trained as an OB/Gyn in China, but practices Chinese medicine here, so she had knowledge of both Eastern and Western medicine, which I appreciate, as I'm in the medical field. I love this place.  Dr. Zhuo is an OB/GYN who practices acupuncture in Minneapolis.  I have had acupuncture from a few practitioners, and most of the time I question whether they know what they are doing, and have rarely gone back (except to one I went to in Atlanta years ago).  I see Dr. Zhuo weekly.  I went for help with fertility ('m 40 and basically just decided late to start a family), and lo and behold, after a month, I became pregnant.  I am now seeing her for morning (all day) sickness, and it really helps.  There is always a chance that this coincidental, but I had been trying for a year, and had a pregnancy that ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks, and now I am at 10 weeks, so things are going better at least.  Hopefully everything progresses well, but I have to think Dr. Zhou was an integral part in it all. I started going to ACM in the spring of 2011 for infertility. In 2010 after trying to get pregnant for over a year my doctor discovered I had a 6cm cyst on my left ovary. During surgery to remove it he also found that I have stage 4 endometriosis and my left tube was blocked. He recommended us to go straight to IVF. So we did an IVF cycle in Feb of 2011, it didn't work. After this failed cycle I began to research more alternative medicines and decided to try acupuncture. I had a friend who went to ACM with her IVF cycle a year before and she had success. I did acupuncture for about 3 months before my IVF cycle in July of 2011. During the cycle I produced more eggs and they were better quality. I got pregnant with twin girls and continued acupuncture throughout my pregnancy. Now it is 2016 and I am back at ACM for a round of IVF so we can have more kids. I am looking to do acupuncture for about 4 months this time before my cycle starts in September. I love Dr. Zhuo because she is so nice, knowledgeable about what she does, and she cares about you. If you're looking for the best acupuncturist, Dr. Zhuo is the one! She helped me through my infertility struggles. I am certain my daughter would not be here without the guidance of Dr. Zhuo, along side my IVF doctor. She helped make sense of the process and I had better results after I started her acupuncture regimen. She helped me successfully through the IVF process for my son as well, as well as continuing care (for both kids) during and after pregnancy. What an incredible experience.When I went in for my consultation with Dr. Eileen Zhuo and her assistant, I wasn't even healthily skeptical of Chinese medicine, non-Western practices and acupuncture. I was convinced they didn't work at all. But I also felt like I had nothing to lose.I'd been suffering from severe, two-week-long PMS that basically left me incapacitated, chronically lethargic and sick - for half my life. My period cramps were even worse. I was taking approximately 5-12 Advils a day (200 mg/pill) for several days to combat the cramps, assuring the eventual destruction of my liver. I was prescribed Ketoralac for pain management by my ob/gyn, a medication with a black box warning.Within two weeks of starting acupuncture and taking both kinds of herbs that Zhuo recommended, I was on the mend. The first period after starting acupuncture was without cramps entirely. So was the second. And the third. My PMS started to lift. Or rather, it shifted from severe to mild. Even my intense food cravings disappeared.But oddly, other changes started occurring that nobody at the clinic warned me about. For instance, I now have this incredible, formidable bodily and mental energy that I've never had in my life. Apparently, I'm producing more chi because I'm regaining my health. I have so much energy that I often don't know how to channel it.And my insomnia is practically gone. I always have been a night owl, often taking more than two hours from the time my head hits the pillow to fall asleep. After three months of treatment, I'm sleeping within 15 minutes of laying down, sometimes less.I've never felt more alive or more in control of my life.
