February 2018 I decided I needed to loose weight. I lost 1 stone pretty quickly and then nothing. I felt I was working hard and achieving nothing. I decided to have a few weeks of personal training sessions with Ric to help me achieve more weight loss. I could not squat as my knees hurt and certain exercises hurt my arm. 18 months later I’m still having weekly personal training sessions with Ric. I can now squat as we have built my knees up and they don’t hurt. I’m probably one of his difficult clients. As I moan at him, disagree and basically fight any new exercise. Some how he manages to keep calm and get me to do all the exercises. So after 18 months with him, I have lost 3 stone in weight and changed my body shape. What he does not mention is how you keep having to buy new clothes, as they will soon be hanging off you. I recommend trying him as he will get you results a lot faster than on your own. Rick's attention to detail is amazing too, you're not just there for a workout, but for a tune-up too.
Rick will spot postural or other problems and either prescribe, or treat the issue there and then.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I help my clients achieve their goals by first and foremost getting to understand them. Have been a personal trainer for 20 year I have many different problems put in front of me, so I have solutions. However, those solutions need to work for you. For that reason I will coach you on building a habit based nutritional programme you can use anywhere, I'll use training techniques that push you (not break you), but as important I'll support you every step as much or as little as you need.

The secret to getting the body of your dreams is simple. Consistent, steady progression! Find your weakest link turn deal with it find the next. Don't do everything at once, you'll simply overload yourself.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is results, not just the weight loss or muscle gain, but seeing the real transformation in my clients lives. More energy day to day, ability to do something as simple as put their socks on without straining.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The thing that inspired the start of my business was my desire to help more people.
