What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for national companies installing and maintaining all forms of electronic security systems for many years, I wanted to have the opportunity to
be able to have full control of system design, installation and implementation to fully provide the customers requirements to there full satisfaction.
I became extremely disillusioned at the lack of client empathy, clients were just a number on a job sheet. At Active8 we pride ourselves on client relationships and 1st class ongoing support.

Composite decking is manufactured from recycled wood fibers and recycled plastic, composite decking is man made and is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional timber decking. Composite has become an increasingly popular alternative to traditional decking due to its ease of maintenance and longer-lasting qualities.
Softwood decking is made from coniferous trees, which are faster growing and therefore more economical to farm in volume. Tree plantations in Europe are also generally managed with sustainability in mind so there aren’t any woodland environmental problems caused with this type of decking.
Common species used are: Cedar, Pine, Spruce, Fir, Thuya, Hemlock giving both beautiful colours and textures.
Softwood decking will require more maintenance long term to avoid becoming slippery, warping, and splitting.
