I hired these wonderful people for my medieval themed wedding and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! In fact they surpassed my expectations and I am dying to work with them again! Wonderful experience with ActionEvents LA two years in a row! My five year old and his friends were so enthralled with "spider man" and "spider gwen. " The actors were very engaging and we had such a fun time at their studio. Parents were able to sit back and enjoy themselves as well. Barbara was responsive and helped to coordinate an awesome birthday party. Very professional! I was a bit nervous about having actors dress up as Batman and Captain America for my son's 3 year old birthday party but these guys blew us away. From start to finish they were professional and in character- they had wonderful games for the children and were even able to handle and redirect the more intense little ones which ease. MADE OUR PARTY A MEMORABLE SUCCESS!!! My son Sparrow had a 4th Birthday Superhero Party yesterday and it would not have been complete and as fun if it weren't for the special guest appearances of Spider-man, Captain America, and Captain Marvel! They were all so energetic and playful with the kids (which we had a total about 40 of)... and best of all they were very professional and respectful toward the parents, which we were so thankful for! From Superhero training to picture taking to cake cutting...all in full costumes during this summer heat, mind you...  I was so pleased with this company that for me their work yesterday solidified why they have a well deserved 5/5 star rating. Today, Sparrow's classmates couldn't stop talking about his party...he must have gotten some brownie popularity points for the rest of the year (I did too- with the "Hi Sparrow's Mommy!" I cannot begin to express how throughly impressed not only I was, but how impressed all of our family and friends were with our knight entertainment (Chris and Casara) with Action Events LA!  From the moment I contacted Tim and Barbara, it was such an amazing experience.  They knew exactly what I wanted to create the perfect atmosphere for my sons Renaissance themed birthday party.  Every dollar spent was WELL WORTH IT!  Our party was just over 70 people and so many of our guests came up to me saying, "Where did you find these knights?" "They are hilarious" "The kids LOVE them!" "They are incredible" "Do you have their cards?" Chris and Casara were the BEST!  They mingled with ALL of our guests, had WONDERFUL attitudes while wearing all their gear in the heat, and stayed in character from the moment they arrived to the second they left. I could not have asked for a better duo, seriously.  They entertained about 20 kids for 1 1/2 hours and let me just say this, THEY ENTERTAINED!  They did not have any down time.  From putting on a sword fighting show, to teaching the kids how to sword fight, to taking them on a quest to find a treasure chest, they were non-stop!  I truly can go on and on but to make a long story short, I would ABSOLUTELY book Action Events LA AND refer them to anyone looking for a wonderful way to entertain your guests. We used Action Events for my daughter's 6th Birthday.   The Performer's were great with the kids and everyone had a blast.  My daughter thought hanging out with Rey was the best thing in the world and sad that she had to go back to her base and couldn't come back the next day.  She's also pretty sure Rey will remember to use the tickle force if Kylo Ren causes any more trouble.Action Events was perfect and we'll definitely be using them again! We hired Superman and Wonderwoman for my sons 4th birthday. I can't tell you enough how happy we were. It absolutely made the party. They were both punctual, had great banter, games and amazing personalities. For my sons 5th birthday we ordered two Ninjago characters and it was the best thing that I could have done for him.The characters hid behind trees and creeped into our party area at the park, surprising the birthday boy and all of our guests. They were so animated and did a phenomenal job at keeping the kids (and adults) entertained. I ordered the Ninjago Training Session so they basically taught the kids how to be ninja warriors. They also played with the kids, took pictures with us and so much more. These guys were fantastic in every way!! We hired two knights, one to arrive at the front door and lead a small treasure hunt for my five year old and his friends. The second knight was guarding the treasure and sprang out of the garage to the delight of all the kids and parents. They dueled, they joked, they entertained kids and parents alike. Eventually one knight won and removed the curse from the other. They opened the chest and out came swords and a the holy grail. For the next 45 minutes these guys taught sword fighting, did games and duels with the kids. We had considered Medieval Times, but this was way better, way more personal, and way better priced. My son was turning five and obsessed with King Arthur. He wanted to take all his friends to Medieval Times and I passed out at the price. Instead, we hired two knights for one hour and they provided an excellent, more intimate and more personal show!!  The knights had that special kind of humor that entertained the adults while going right over the kids heads. Kinda pricey but worth it! I live far from LA and I appreciated that they come out to where I am! In the past, I have worked with a lot of character companies have hosted a lot of parties. SPIDERMAN WAS AWESOME! We just had Spiderman at my son's 4th birthday and I cannot praise him enough. From the moment he arrived to his departure, he was running around doing summersaults, jumping onto ledges and landing in Spiderman's signature knee pose, and he never broke character. Even the older siblings and parents were blown away. He did great action shots during our cake cutting and after posed for all the pictures. The price was excellent for what we recieved. We had a party for my son for his 4th birthday and it was Star Wars theme.  We had Darth Vader, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker come!  The kids were in awe and enjoyed themselves the whole time.  They did Jedi training and kept all 30 kids engaged and active.  We love this company and were VERY impressed with how everything turned out.  I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for entertainment for children. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I booked Iron Man and Captain America for my son's birthday party and he and all his friends had the best time ever! Actions Events was referred by a mom on Facebook and I couldn't be happier. From the minute they got there to the minute they left they remained in character and used every minute of there time to play with the kids. They're costumes are legit and well put together. WOW what a Party. My Grand daughter had a Ninja Party and it HAD to be the Blue Ninja. BEST Ninja EVER!!!  We had 20+ kids in the backyard and The Blue Ninja was a TOTAL HIT. . He was funny and the kids could not get enough of him. Working with Action Events LA was easy and all the reviews that rave about them are true.. Hiring this team was hands for the best decision I could have made for my 5 year olds Birthday Party last week.Tim made the arrangements so easy and with great enthusiasm. I have never seen such an array of kids so enthralled for so long! My son was in heaven and so were his friends. Even the older siblings could not get enough.Their costumes were incredible. Action Events LA's Tim Weske and I conspired for a week or two on how to make my daughter's 21st birthday party the most amazing "Harry Potter"-themed event possible, and the result was over the top!  After guests arrived at "Platform 9 3/4" for a cocktail party on the giant putting green, everyone was surprised to see the grand entrance of Harry Potter, Hermione, & Professor Snape!  The Action Events LA trio of actors arrived in character and soon they had more than 30 adults young and old in full fencing mode! From there, the procession was led by our own Professor Dumbledore into "Hogwarts School" to begin the feast in the Great Hall complete with floating candles.  We were so thrilled that Snape, Harry, and Hermione could stay for dinner and mingle with the guests! They were so believable in their roles that the party had an extra enchantment as if we all had stepped into J.K. Rowling's books and were at Hogwarts School!  I can't thank our wonderful actors and Tim enough, nor could I give a stronger recommendation for Action Events LA!  I can't wait to come up with my next party theme so I can hire Action Events LA again - Thank you guys! We had our annual Halloween pumpkin patch and decided to go with Action Events LA! They were very cooperative and efficient. We chose to have Batman and Snow White, whom were excellent. Their costumes were so real and their acting was on point! The pricing is a bit high for an hour, but you get what you pay for = quality service. We just had our son's 8th birthday party with Action Events LA. We chose a ninjago theme. We had about 20 kids ages 3-11, boys and girls. I was extremely impressed with the actors, specifically in how they kept all the kids at super high energy the whole time, engaged in every fun game, ninja training action or treasure hunt they did!The space is very cool and engaging, we didn't even need decorations. The kids could run, play, laugh and scream - in fact they were encouraged to! There was plenty of space for all the kids and adults, food and gifts. All in all, one of the best birthdays we've ever done (and we have three kids, so that's out of 18 birthday parties so far!). My only two criticisms at all were that we were only given 15 min for set up and clean up each, and that there is no fridge or freezer to store food.
