Amazing food, chef, server, atmosphere, everything. Came with my fiance and the service was amazing even given the fact that it was quite busy! You can tell they care at Acqua Dolce. The owner, Amelia, talked with us for a while and was extremely nice. We are considering having our wedding here because the view of Lake Ontario is beautiful. Thank you Acqua Dolce! See you soon! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Not only is the food amazing but the owner cares.
Amelia is amazing and she is the most kind and caring owner
The food was incredible. The menu was different than posted online as she changes the menu up for seasonal foods. The food is fresh. The meals are made on the spot. The portions are perfect.
We will go back and very much recommend to anyone else because you won't be sorry

We visited the weekend when the Indy 500 was happening, so getting to the restaurant was quite the hike. However, once we got there the doors were locked (despite it being open).
After a few minutes of us googling / calling, someone came out and asked if we had a reservation (we did)
When we sat down, the menu we were given was different then the menu online. The owner came over and explained the new menu (because of the race). She and her staff were very friendly, helpful, and charming.
They were even able to accommodate me with food allergies to wheat, dairy and soy. Everyone in the group loves their food! You could tell it was homemade, and made with passion.
We would definitely go back! Thanks Acqua Dolce for a great meal & a great time!

Amazing atmosphere, impeccable service and unbelievably delicious food!! Everything was made fresh and from scratch! Came to Toronto for a weekend, found a Groupon to Acqua Dolce and have to say it was THE BEST Groupon I have ever purchased. I'll break it down like this:Food: 4.5/5 delicious, good portions, freshAtmosphere: 5/5 beautiful restaurant with a stunning lake view and outdoors gardenService: 3/5 been here a couple times, wait times can get long, very long. At times under staffed. But when it got out of hand the owner/ manager came through and comped our meal and a bottle of wine. (We waited over an hour)Overall: if the owner improves the overall staff service and prehaps brings some local street musicians to play live while will really play into the beautiful grand piano setting. This restaurant has real potential for being unique. Food is good, price is reasonable but service has to be there and consistent. While recently attending a concert across the street at Ontario Place i came across Acqua Dolce. The restaurant is located on the exhibition grounds and is right across the street from the lake. Wow what a gem!! My friend and i split a marguerita pizza and it was perfectly cooked. Nice and crispy with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Next came a plate of grilled veggies drizzled in lemon and olive oil. Very fresh and tasty. We finished off our meal with a caccio e pepe pasta that was one of the best sauces i have ever tasted. Bold flavours that left you wanting more! The service was good (they were understaffed that evening but our waitress Amanda managed well) and they had us in and out in time to make it to our concert.
