Have used Acer on a couple of occasions to remove unwanted conifers and to take the top off a large tree that was threatening to damage the house. They come round first to look at the job, recommend what needs doing and give you a quote. It has always been a dream of mine, and I felt at the time when starting my business there wasn't an Arb approved contractor in the area.
