Moved house last week. I had a small van sorted already with help from a family member. I had also sourced a piano to go in the new house. Not the easiest thing to move. The original plan was for my brother and I to just hire a van and struggle. But a piano is quite possibly the worst thing ever to move. Plan b on a Saturday afternoon was to see if there were any professional companies with the equipment and experience to do this. Many charged more than the piano itself. Sorry for delay in writing the review. Been busy unpacking but as promised I said I was going to write you guys a review. So after being let down last minute by another removal company, luckily I managed to find Ace Removals off Facebook. I can't express enough by how impressed I was by their professionalism and ability to accommodate us at the last minute. I called a few companies before I heard of Ace Removals and the other companies were charging extortionate prices- I'm guessing because they knew how desperate we were to book a removal company at the last minute. However, when I called Zaffar, he was very professional and more or less price matched us with the previous company we booked that let us down. Not only that but as I explained to Zaffar that my husband suffers with a bad back and has had two back operations so was unable to lift anything heavy during the move, Zaffar reassured me that there will be two other men as well as himself to help with the move and that my husband doesn't need to do anything. This as you can imagine was a big relief as the last thing I wanted was my husband to go through another back operation. In addition, to make sure we could get all our stuff in their van, Zaffar came to our house the evening before our move during his own time to check all our furniture etc will fit into his removal van. Again this was very reassuring. We were moving from Batley to Leicester, so again that was a fair distance for Ace Removals to travel but they did it without any fuss and just got on with the job efficiently.
