Signed up with Alex in Accelerate fitness last year and found it made a massive difference than going to the gym myself. He tailored a weight training and realistic nutritional plan to suit me and found it has made a huge difference in results. I achieved some very significant results with Alex in a relatively short space of time, dropping a quarter of my body fat in 6 weeks. Alex developed a very thorough diet and training plan that was varied and enjoyable that was monitored regularly to ensure that the targets were being hit. Enjoyed the one on one sessions a lot more than the usual crowded gym. Made to feel at ease with myself and as a beginner Alex was able to help me stay motivated whilst being informed and advised properly. I started training with Alex a few months ago and have found him and his methods of training and approach to nutrition absolutely excellent. After using other training facilities in the past that promised a lot more than what they offered, Alex has delivered on his every word!!! He is always available and follows up through out the week on how my nutrition and diet is going. He is a very motivating personal trainer and find him very good at what he does. I have tried various gyms and personal trainers over the last couple of years and Alex is by far the best one yet. Alex is immensely passionate about what he does and his natural enthusiasm helped to relax my worries surrounding my lack of fitness when he first started working with me. His knowledge, confidence and attitude are second to none and he is always on hand with good advice .The sessions are always different and very challenging but are rewarding and very effective. I have been going to Alex for personal training for the past 18 months having tried other trainers, gyms and plans beforehand. I started off with a very skeptical outlook and a host of injuries. He is very passionate about nutrition, strength and conditioning and will go out of his way to help you achieve your goals. In this 18 months with Alex he has helped me reverse osteoporosis by becoming strong and improving my posture. He is a good listener and has a mixture of clients of all ages. Highly recommended. For years I was going to the gym without doing certain exercises as I didn't want to damage my back . Alex taught me how to do deadlift , squats and other exercises properly. I also wasn't working my plan or diet efficiently . Alex did a food plan and taught me a bit about nutrition . He is a great motivator also , sending text messages at different times of the day / night to help keep my diet on track and giving me a push when I needed it . Would highly recommend More...

Not the least bit surprised Alex O'Brien has decided to open a personal fitness business....the man's dedication and commitment to his own level of fitness and well-being is nothing short of astounding, I've lost count of how many Iornman events he's completed ( and won ! ! ) .Really just thinking about it leaves me breathless......and that's the way he'll leave his clients after a good workout More...
