I met with Chad Hokins (the representative for AC Paving) to explain my driveway paving needs.
Mr. Hopkins was extremely straight forward with his information and very honest and accurate with the companies ability to address my situation.
I share with Mr. Hopkins that I need the work done yesterday, (meaning) I need it done right away. MR. Hopkins delivered everything he said he would. He had a whole crew at my home in an hour with the best equipment in the business and highly qualified workers. They were proficient, professional and very polite. I highly, highly recommend AC Pavers to anyone who is serious about receiving top quality work and skillful workers who know exactly how to do the job and help maintain or improve the value of your home.

AC Paving was recommended to me by a colleague who said they were responsive and competitively priced. They truly were quick to respond and come out to survey the work and provide a very fair price for my 2,500 sq ft driveway. Chad explained to me how the process worked and how they typically lay a thicker surface than most companies, which allows it to last much longer (further adding value to that price). They were careful to avoid damaging the sprinkler system heads I marked along the driveway edges and left zero damage in the surrounding grass areas. During resurfacing they also addressed water drainage issues I had mentioned by making an unnoticeable swale from my gutter drain spout to driveway edge to ensure it stayed away from house and garage door during heavy rains. The benefit was noticeable in the next two days of heavy rain. I also noticed the dramatic difference in thickness from the before and after of the driveway at my house and in comparison to the rest of my neighbors. I was recommended A. C. Paving Company of Millersville, MD by a friend of mine. He had done extensive research on a reputable paving contractor in the Anne Arundel area. He chose A.C. Paving and was pleased with their work and recommended them to me. I, too, was very satisfied with their work. My driveway was in poor condition with cracks and parts broken away and I wanted to widen it. AC Paving repaved my large driveway two months ago and did a fantastic job! They informed me what the overall condition of my driveway was but did not recommend total removal and replacement. Instead they removed the sections that were in poor condition and did an overlay for the remainder of the driveway. This saved me from spending wasted funds on a project not needed. AC Paving resurfaced our commercial property parking lot in November of 2017. At the time, we had a problem with water leaking into the basement. We had tried to remedy the problem in numerous ways prior to hiring AC Paving and nothing had worked. The owner felt his solution was the correct one and he was absolutely right. Due to the work done by AC Paving, we no longer have a problem.Recently we had an issue with the pavement swelling outside a door when the outside temperature was excessively hot. The swelling of the aspalt prohibited the door from opening without excessive force. I'm going to start this review with a little about myself. I'm in construction and I am in the middle of a full renovation of a home property. I myself am a contractor and I've dealt with dozens and dozens of other contractors. I'm pretty much the sole income and I have four kids, so for a family of 6 you can clearly understand I'm on a budget. I've seen every sales pitch and shortcut done in the construction industry, I needed my driveway repaved and called literally 10 different buissnesses within a 30 mile radius of me. With what I know, I waded through several different Paving Contractors until I finally settled on AC Paving, for lack of a better word, they seem the least be BS'ing and the most down to business that clearly knew what needed to be done and had the ability to get it done now. They came in at a great price something very reasonable (beat every main competitors price) and willing to start that day... I'll be honest at that price and in such a short time frame I watched the entire process through judgemental eyes waiting for someone to cut corners or slack off. It just didn't happen.They went way above and beyond and literally Non-Stop. My driveway looks fantastic and was done at a price literally 30% cheaper than my neighbors who had a friend of the family do theirs.Several things I notice which might not stand out to someone that's not in construction, but we're readily visible for me and I want to mention.The price was true to a T, nothing changed, amd no unexpected made-up charges at the end.They came on time and finished on time.Their workers knew how to handle their equipment, from the unloading to the reloading I could tell they knew what they were doing and were seasoned at it.They refilled asphalt in the hopper on the way down the driveway to ensure no humps were put into the driveway, which happens when people mid load and pull back out to the street to refill.They weeded the edges of my existing driveway before pouring to ensure they have a flush straight line on the new pour.They cleaned up so good that they cleaned stuff on the street that wasn't even from them.They compacted the entire driveway first with a roller and then by hand to make sure it was perfect... it was.No one and I repeat no one took a break the entire the time they were here... it was nonstop.They had new equipment and did not cut corners. Bobcats, trucks, Hopper's, rollers, torches, and a crew of 5... 6 if you could the foreman.And last, and again it might not mean anything to the average homeowner, but even when reloading they knew to park all their equipment over the axles of their trailers... this might not seem like a big deal but I can tell you even with my own new guys I see them not understanding basic loading that needs to be done. These are people that know what they're doing and have done it for some time.Their work was so polished and so well done I can't even begin to commend them enough.Look, I might be long-winded here at this point but honestly I am so happy with their work I couldn't help but review them in full immediately after. Over the years I've had so many bad contractors come work on my projects that I'm so happy to finally have someone who knows what they're doing and charges an honest price for an honest day's work.A++ and will clearly recommend to anyone who asks. We built our house back in 2015 and finally decided to have our very large driveway paved with asphalt. Sales Manager Chad came the very same day I called to request an estimate. He is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Crew showed up on time on one of the hottest days of the summer and worked all day to finish job. They were friendly and meticulous. I have never seen a company with newer and cleaner machinery and trucks. We are extremely pleased with the quality of work. This company obviously takes pride in what they do. I called for service and in the same day received a response a quote on the price and the job done all in one day.
