My husband and I hired John from Absolute Disc Jockey to DJ our wedding in 2005. I was looking for a DJ who also offered karaoke services and was referred to him. From the getgo, he was friendly, professional, polite and accommodating. He allowed us to come see him DJ a couple other weddings before committing. He wears a tux and fits right in. He was able to play the music we requested plus he played ethnic music we supplied from both my husband's and my culture for special dances. He is a great MC, knows how to keep the hosts of the party happy as well as the guests by taking requests. Since then he has DJd two other friends' weddings. I still keep up with John on Facebook and go to his karaoke nights when I can after all these years. When I go to karaoke nights I find out there are a few others whose weddings he DJd as well. I'd say that is customer satisfaction! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. More...

We met John from Absolute Disc Jockey several years ago at the For Julie Foundation events. We loved the fact that John donated his time to DJ for such a great foundation dear to our family for many, many years.
In 2012, we used Absolute Disc Jockey for our wedding DJ. The music was incredible during the entire reception! It was obvious John knew how to keep the energy alive. All ages were having a great time dancing to his music! People still to this day say how much fun the reception was. John even coordinated with 3 of my friends to sing to me as a surprise. It was amazing and the guests thoroughly enjoyed watching-as did I!
My family and friends enjoyed the wedding so much that my brother hired John to DJ at his wedding in 2015. We all know that a DJ can make or break a wedding reception. John succeeded again with everything from the uplighting to the incredible music to the beautiful monogram on the dance floor.
If you're looking for a great DJ who is dressed professionally, very personable, and will make sure your wedding music is coordinated perfectly, I would absolutely hire John at Absolute Disc Jockey. Thanks John for making both mine and my brother's wedding reception absolutely perfect!

I have known John Coyne for over twenty years and I have seen him in multiple D.J. capacities: He was Karaoke D.J. for over eight years at a restaurant/tavern in Skokie where I worked. John was a true professional and tons of fun! We always had a packed house on Karaoke nights and that was due to his amazing regular client building skills. During that time, my now husband and I hired him to D.J. our wedding. He was thorough in his planning and kept our special evening moving along on schedule! He, of course, played all the music that we chose, but he played music that kept all of our wedding guests dancing until the very end. Many of our friends also hired John to D.J. their weddings with the same fun and lighthearted atmosphere results, keeping guests dancing late into the night! As life has evolved for us, we once again hired John to D.J./emcee for several of our children’s school events and our PTA has hired Absolutediscjockey.com for many of the “Parent’s Night Out’ events. Ive known John for quite some time now! He was our DJ at my wedding in 2012. He brought so much sass and fun to our family and friends there, and We even got a special solo surprise at the end from him! Gorgeous voice! I was introduced to his amazing talent way before my wedding as he was our DJ for our company SEASPAR's (South East Association for Special Park and Recreation) Dances where our sole focus in to help support and encourage socialization, life skills, and self esteem for those with a variety of disabilities. When the DJ we hired backed out a month before the wedding, I found John and Absolute Disc Jockey online. From the first phone call and meeting, I knew we were in good hands. John was very reasonable in many ways - a great value, receptive to our requests, and his online tools helped us set up the DJing experience perfectly.
John was very lively and helped keep the night moving along as planned. We never worried about what part of the night was next on the schedule - John got the cake timing, a special cultural dance, etc. all queued up!
The music was also great, and his equipment was of good quality.
I'd definitely recommend him for anyone!

He touched based with us and always answered any questions to ensure that everything was as we wanted and perfect. John was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since day one he always was extremely attentive to our needs and made sure our wedding was amazing. He was a fantastic MC and helped our reception go off without a hitch. He always had the dance floor packed throughout the night and knew the right songs to play. If you are looking for the perfect DJ for your event, John at Absolute Disc Jockey is you go-to guy. We hired John to do our reception music and photo booth at our wedding this June. John's music choices at dinner were perfect and everyone enjoyed conversation with the music as a backdrop. John knew exactly when to switch it up to fill the dance floor right after dinner. From start to finish, everyone enjoyed the music. The photo booth set up was great and everyone loved it. John was our wedding DJ who made the party happen! John was very personable and I felt like he was one of our friends! He was available to talk whenever I had a question or when I had something to add. My husband is Hispanic and I am Irish... John was so attentive to making sure fair amounts of Latin music were played as well as all the other songs we wanted. John is very talented and full of knowledge of a variety of cultural music.
