Above and Beyond! We used TLPC for our wedding and were MORE than pleasantly surprised. We had a very tight budget and they did multiple things to help us get what we needed to provide a meal without breaking the bank. On the day of the wedding we were ecstatic about the quality of food and also the quality of staff. There was enough food for people to get seconds and the chef made sure that everyone was satisfied and done before packing up. The server and chef even went around to tables to help clear the plates, plastic silverware, and cups to help make the night more fluid for the guests and us at the head table. Incredible work.The only negative that we encountered was when we used their online calculator. It did not match up with what we were charged. However, whenever we talked to them through email or the phone they were honest about any fees besides just the food and we never felt as if they were just trying to make an extra buck. Hello Google Reviewees, If you are looking for both great customer service and food this catering company has it all! I didn't end up booking this vendor for my wedding but I still wanted to give them a shout out for the great service! I had heard about This Little Piggy because I had their food at a family members wedding. It not only was extremely tasty but there was a lot of variety. I had contacted this company for my own wedding and I was paired with Willie Nielsen to go over all my wants and needs. Every step of the way Willie provided great insight and he educated me on how catering works. He was never pushy and he was understanding when I wanted to make a change to my food quote. I am a firm believer if you have great customer service even if you don't pick a specific vendor that it is always good to let others know. Usually, I am very unimpressed by wedding food (it's wedding food) and forget pretty quickly what I ate at who's wedding. But This Little Piggy was so yummy ! We got BBQ for our day and people were complimenting us the whole night and even weeks beyond on our food and how good it was! The staff set up very quickly and also tore down just as fast. This Little Piggy Catering was absolutely great to work with. From the initial contract signing to the day of the wedding Vanessa (our contact) was available to answer any questions and update our menu as needed. This Little Piggy was very easy to work with and met our expectations in regard to contract fulfillment and payment.

We received a TON of compliments on the food and it was DELICIOUS! The food on the day of the wedding was just as delicious as the day we did our initial tasting! Little Piggy arrived on-site, on time and there were no issues during service. They kept the food coming all through dinner service and were very friendly to us and our guests.

Our daughter's wedding was a couple weeks ago and This Little Piggy was the caterer for our venue. They are simply the BEST! ! The staff was friendly, pleasant and efficient. The buffet served our guests in a short amount of time and the food was delicious! We have gotten so many compliments on the food especially the pulled pork and mac and cheese!! My husband's uncle was a butcher by trade and he fully enjoyed watching them carve the pig and the way they prepared the pork! His daughter even videoed it! Our wedding was Oct 20th and we chose This Little Piggy because our venue didn’t have many options to chose from and they didn’t disappoint. We paid for a popcorn bar social which included fresh popped popcorn and movie theatre options of candy (huge hit). We picked the taco bar for dinner to include beef and chicken, hard shell soft shell, doritos and a huge portion of nacho cheese for kiddos. The food was warm, tasteful and plentiful per person. We used the bar service with 2 bartenders and had 2 kegs of beer hosted. The bartenders were super kind and kept drinks coming for the bride and groom all night. The downfall is that even though the food is kept warm and fresh, the service charge tacked on to the payment is massive. Having no choice to pick this vendor was hard when I saw how much I was paying…. The day of I did a tip based on how many servers showed up to help make the buffet happen. The staff was very friendly and they even cleaned up the tables which was unexpected. Our guests raved about our food. We did a burger bar with fun sides like mac and cheese. They commented they liked that it wasn't like every other wedding where you choose chicken or beef. Abby and her team were excellent at our wedding! They made sure the head table had everything we needed. The only downside to using this caterer was that they never received one of my checks so I had to pay to cancel the one I sent them. I did read in the reviews that this happened to someone else as well. Abby was the second representative from This Little Piggy that I worked with. The first representative seemed to not give me all of the information I needed. A few things Abby informed me of the month before the wedding were never explained to me when I began using the caterer. Our venue had an exclusive caterer (Distinctive Catering) so we chose This Little Piggy. The added fees are so crazy that we ended up doing a lot of our own things. The event production fee was completely ridiculous and unfortunately we know that this money does not go to the staff who puts on the event, so an additional tip is “recommended” for them. Our overall experience with the staff was great. Everyone was friendly and we didn’t have to worry about anything all night. This Little Piggy Catering did an absolutely fabulous job at our wedding on 9/29/18 at Round Barn Farm B&B and Event Center. The day of coordinator, Olivia, was out of this world. She called a few days prior to introduce herself and go over anything that we might need. The day of she came and found us to say hi and confirm some details. During dinner she grabbed my husband and I a drink, was checking in with my family and did an incredible job bussing tables. Not only was the staff great but the food was absolutely delicious! These people have an exclusive agreement with several of the barn venues in the Twin Cities. Because of this, their prices are outrageous and they are very difficult to work with. If you want a buffet with 2 choices of meats, you must order 200%, "in case every guest wants the same meat". Service charges are really high, such as $100/hour per server to pass appetizers. We were extremely happy with Little Piggy Catering for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. Just wanted to share my experience of the The Little Piggy Catering Inc. A+! Enjoyed the staff that came, they were very polite and courteous. The chef came and introduced himself and said he was from the catering company. He asked where the meal was to be serve and he mentioned he would wait until we done in the barn as to not to disturb us. We told him to proceed with their tasks as it would not be bother to us. Really enjoyed the meal and a had few left overs of the mac’n cheese and potatoes. The bride was happy to have another taste of the awesome mac’n cheese. Please share my appreciation to the staff of A Little Piggy Catering. We had about 100 guests attending this wedding.

I would definitely contact this catering company again in the future.

We had TLP cater our 12/16/16 wedding in the midst of a pretty good snowfall and they pulled it off! From the beginning TLP was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We did have some trouble at first getting in touch with Abby--took about a week per response from her but eventually we had a phone call conversation and settled our contract. The only other thing we were disappointed about was that we were told there would be an additional keg brought along so we could host another if we wanted to. We were also told someone from the staff would tell us when our hosted kegs were running low so we could have the option of either hosting the next keg/or even bottles of beer OR just have the guests pay for their own drinks. No one came to find us/tell us and there was not another keg brought along. It didn't ruin our night or anything but we were just confused when we went to the bar and asked for a beer only to find it had run out already. Otherwise, very helpful staff and our food was great!
