We booked Above & Beyond for our wedding on 10/25/2019. We worked with Matt throughout the entire process who was extremely knowledgeable. Tyler (MC) and Kenny (DJ) were amazing! They played all of the songs that we requested on our music sheet. But they were better than I could imagined and all of our guests are raving about the great music! My husband and I and all of our guests danced the ENTIRE evening!! Tyler was wonderful making announcements throughout the evening as well as getting people up to dance. My sister also used the company for her wedding last year. I would recommend above & beyond to anyone who wants their guests to be up and dancing the entire evening! More...

We had my daughter's sweet 16 on July 12, 2019 at the Mill Pond Country Club. The photo booth broke down for approximately 1hr after the first few sessions and was supposed to run for 3 hours from 7:30-10:30.
Even though it was extended to 11:00 it was not a full 3 hours and was missing during the most crucial time people would take pics in the photo booth. Then, I was told I would not be able to get the digital copies of all of the photo booth pictures due to the change of machines. Instead of having about 150-200 photos, I have 20. The microphones were cracking and popping all throughout the candle lighting ceremony and many of the zap photos are so dark that you cannot even see people's faces. People barely danced until the last 45mins of the party.
Overall it is very disappointing to have many adult guests tell you that the dj wasn't that great when you just spent $2800 for it. After giving this feedback in response to the company's email request for an evaluation, I didn't even receive a response phone call or email. When I requested the photo booth pics I didn't even get so much as an apology for not being able to provide them (products that were in our agreement). When I called to discuss the situation further, I was told all sorts of excuses and that I should be happy that my zap photographer took "posed" pictures during the party because they normally charge more for that. I have hired zap photographers with DJ's in the past and have had family members who also have had zap photographers and they take whatever pictures you want as long as it's within the party hours. After working with many different dJ's and speaking with friends about their experiences with DJ's, it is very shocking and disappointing the lack of care and concern. I actually had a photographer (for the same cost as the zap add on) that I was going to hire who would have come with special lighting equipment and would have taken pictures 1 hour before the event as well as during it, but I thought it would be better to keep all staff from 1 company and had previously had great experiences with zap photographers.
It is one thing to have a bad experience with a company, it's another when they totally disregard the situation and don't even offer so much as an apology let alone any reimbursement for not providing products paid for in my contract. My cousin had a problem with her photo booth at her daughter's sweet 16 a week after my party and the DJ not only reprinted the 200 pictures, but refunded her $200. I went with this company so we could have a younger DJ/MC, but in the end I wish I would have kept my original DJ. He may be in his 40's, but he is reliable, professional, honorable and knows how to keep a party dancing.

Just had our daughter's Sweet 16 last night, and all in have to say is that Dante and Mike were AMAZING!!! The music was great and the picture booth was a hit! ! They truly didnt miss a beat with anything!!! (no pun intended) Not only did they pay attention to our guests, but they kept asking us, if we liked how everything was going!! Oh what a night!!!!!! 12/27/18 a&b made my daughter the happiest 16 year old!!! Matt and David were absolutely amazing!! ! From the first phone call to the night of, they were very friendly, enthusiastic and organized!!! All the kids were on the dance floor the entire night. Robert the owner was just as kind and excited!! We also used the Mike their photographer and he too was incredible!!! Ok so I got married in July of 2017 and just rewatched my wedding video and then got really mad at myself for not writing a review. People are still talking about how great the DJ was. Tyler was my MC and he was absolutely amazing! Luckily I have friends and family that love to dance but he made everything so smooth. We just had my daughters sweet 16 (7-6-18) at The Sterling. Your staff was truly incredible. Dante was so personable and had the crowd going all night. Adults included which I've been told doesn't usually happen. I was immediately greeted by Dante when I arrived at the event. Matt was an excellent DJ and played music that made everyone dance. Being given the task to DJ a party that had two purposes (a celebration of my stepmother's 50th birthday as well as a celebration of her first wedding anniversary with my father), as well as having to include Indian and Caribbean music to his playlist, all with only a week's notice, DJ Mike stepped up to the plate and performed beautifully. He was respectful and professional throughout the night, his charm was great, and he responded to requests and made sure that we got to play all of the songs we wanted to hear. The service of the company in general prior to the event was also phenomenal, answering my questions in a timely manner and making sure I had everything I needed to plan my event. 10/10! More...

Above and Beyond just recently did my daughters Sweet 16 and it was fabulous! We used them to DJ and MC our party, their photographer to do all our formal pictures and the computerized photo booth for their favors. I can't say enough about them. Just had our Daughters Sweet 16 this past Friday ( 2.23.18) the DJ and MC played all current music, got the crowd energized and had everyone dancing even the adults. My friends told me they've never been to a sweet 16 and all the adults danced, but since the music was so good it was hard to sit down. ALL the kids for MacArthur rocked the dance floor and made Brianna's Sweet 16 a memorable one. They actually said it was the best party ever. Thank you - great job !!!
