What makes a great website?
Presenting to the potential customer that the site they are in (ideally yours) is the site in which captures their interest.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When would you like to go live?
Do you have the content for the site ready?
Is the site to have e-commerce capability?
Do you have a budget in mind?
Describe your creative process.
Liase with customer first through email, telephone or social media (not everyone wants to speak to someone), get the information needed then start working on ides to present to the client. Give them a brief of the work and timescale to be carried out and a price that will be non-negotiable once agreed - so they will never pay more than first agreed upon.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
The content, the flexibility and the deadline. A deposit is required but usually that's it.
What do you love most about your job?
The amount of variety in work that I complete is amazing. I build websites for every type of business and deal with all kinds of people. The unknown of the next job is what I love the most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having a child with a disability, working alone and freelance gives me the flexibility to do what I can when I can.
Why should our clients choose you?
I don't do 9-5! If you want me at 6am call me - if you need me at 11pm call me. I pride myself on customer service and would say every one of my customers would verify this for me. You cant ring Yell at 2 in the morning and speak to a person or call GoDaddy without paying premium rates. I give my customers value for money before, during and after a task is complete.
