I attended the July 2017 networking meeting for the first time to deliver a presentation about what we do - Industrial Symbiosis.
The warm welcome, lively chatter and obvious networking opportunities during this event made this an enjoyable presentation to deliver at such an early time of the day!
I particularly liked the 1:1 networking session at the end of the event - a great way to build relationships with businesses that may otherwise not find opportunity to do business together. Thank you for inviting me along.

I've been a member of The Business Network Banbridge for 4 years. I joined the Committee and held the role of PRO (Public Relations Officer) for a few years and am now Vice Chair. The network is a great group of people of all ages and from many different types of business including tradesmen, services professionals, sole traders, SMEs and larger companies from various sectors. We have members who travel from villages, towns and cities outside of Banbridge to be with us at our meetings and visitors often comment about the positive experience they had with us. What makes a great website?
A great website is easy to navigate and leads your clients through in a streamlined way. The website should be built with your clients in mind and not just to your personal taste.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Who are your ideal clients?
Will you be selling products or services on your website?
Describe your creative process.
Get to know the client, their likes, their products or services before starting.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Logo, industry, copy. These are the basics from which we can start working. Also required are privacy policy, terms and conditions, cookie policy, and others.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to know our clients on a personal level to be able to portray them in their sites.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We had heard too many stories of people getting ripped off by web design agencies.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer lots of different packages to suit all budgets and we have vast experience designing websites for lots of different sectors.
