Eddie provided a great service and was able to help me with a serious problem that was taking too long to resolve with the initial plumber I'd contacted. After a burst pipe, I had no water to my flat, Eddie was able to make time the following day after contacting him, and come when he asked, and solved the problem.Eddie's work was high quality, he was both knowledgeable and easy to chat to, and his ability to get me out of a difficult situation was really appreciated. Not only did he fix the main serious issue, but also he sorted another issue with a kitchen sink in the same visit. We called Eddie and at short notice he arrived to fix a blocked drain. He took no time at all and found the problem and fixed it! He had to rush out and buy materials to complete the job. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Abbeyhill Plumbing and Heating. I couldn't get anyone to come out to fit a new living room radiator for me without having to wait a couple of weeks, so I was frantically calling around and managed to speak to Eddie just after 5pm on Monday.
He was so helpful and was able to give me a quote that evening, with a confirmation that he could round on Friday to fit the radiator. His quote was very competitive, so I agreed right away!
Unfortunately, the night before Eddie and Jimmy were due to come over with the new radiator, another radiator also burst, so again I called Eddie and he was able to pick up another one on his way to the house. Despite running into a few other problems, Eddie and Jimmy stayed and fitted both radiators, plus new valves, despite running way over time. They could easily have left me in the lurch, but they didn't. Radiators are now both red hot, so I'm very grateful to finally have a warm house again!
Five stars all the way, and I'll probably be giving Abbeyhill another call to fit a new vertical radiator for the office, and perhaps even a new bathroom (when we can afford it)!

Eddie provided a prompt and competitively priced estimate to remove an old back boiler and gas fire and install a new condensing boiler in another room. They were highly professional and very neat. This wasn't an easy job as it involved rerouting pipework in a confined space but Eddie and his team did a great job. Eddie also supplied some extra components which were missing on the original system at very reasonable cost. It was notable that he was concerned to do a proper professional job and to explain what was being done. at all stages of the work.
