Good gardens, I haven't seen any naked people there for a while, although I can imagine it can be quite cold for them during winter

Absolutely amazing, Im just so glad in having this opportunity to visit the abbey house garden. You can feel all the nature around you. Great place to clear your mind from all the noise that we have over big city's. Definitely coming back More...

Beautiful grounds and dog friendly. Sculpture exhibition added interest. But, looks like they need a bit more help in the gardens.

Very attractive, beautiful flowers and sculptures. Great calm atmosphere. Obly downside was the lunch: just the minimum, no salad but still nice. Would definitely recommend.

I can't recommend Yoga in the Garden highly enough. Wendy does an amazing job of accommodating all levels of ability, from complete yoga novices to the more advanced, and every class is different. There's a real sense of fun to each session, and I love that you'll always attempt (or achieve!) something new. When the weather is lovely we practise outside, and if not, the heated studio is cosy and welcoming. Each week, I float out of there after class, feeling really glad that I made a bit of time for myself. More...

I love Yoga in the Garden with Wendy! I've tried yoga before but never really 'got into it' but with Wendy I really look forward to classes. I'm learning so much as well and actually want to practice at home in between. The classes are very relaxed and fun and we are always trying new things. I'm so glad I found Yoga in the Garden! Thank you Wendy! More...

Wendy's classes are fun, relaxing and a great workout if you want it to be. Her passion for yoga is inspiring. The small class sizes enable Wendy to tailor each session to suit individual needs and help everyone achieve their goals whatever they might be. Wendy's classes are by far the best yoga classes I've ever been to. More...

Wendy's classes are relaxed and friendly and I never feel expected to reach an 'acceptable' level; everyone is encouraged to work within their own limits. No two classes are the same and Wendy is keen to tailor her practice to the class needs and wants. I am not very 'yoga' but I am working on relaxing, even if I haven't managed to fall asleep during Shavasana just yet! More...

Wendy's yoga classes always feel like they are sprinkled with a bit of magic, no matter how I feel when I walk into the class I always walk out feeling better. I have been to numerous yoga classes and Wendy's are by far the best, small classes with excellent teaching. The classes are different each week, I would not hesitate in recommending these classes to anyone. More...

More...

My made very first visit to Abbey House Gardens on a CO day, as this was how I had originally heard of it, and fancied giving myself a challenge. The damp weather probably lowered attendance levels, but did give the garden and woodland mystical atmosphere, resulting in a very relaxing and tranquil day. I think I was one of the last to leave, which is unusual for me. I look forward to returning in July. More...

Visited Abbey House yesterday. Clothes optional day. Would like to say how as a lady I very much appreciated the regular "walk abouts" by Abbey House staff. Very friendly, sensitive and ensuring that everybody had a pleasant and safe day there. I felt much more at ease than I have done during previous visits. Thank you. More...

It is wonderful, truly brilliant.
My favourite part is the descent into the dell, but it wouldn't be so effective were it not for the formal plateau garden.
The sequences and allegorical references are superb; an allegorical garden for our own time.
By far my favourite garden.
And the open-hearted way in which we, the public, are welcomed in and are able to thoroughly enjoy it puts all others in the shade.
A national treasure. It's future needs to be safe-guarded.

The Abbey House Gardens just blew me away. So much love and passion has gone into creating this little piece of heaven.
I took my grandfather and his lady friend Jennifer who was the person that told me about this amazing place. I will go again, and again....and most definitely again!
I just hope that if ever this place does get sold, that someone with as much heart as the current owner takes it on. To do anything else would be an injustice and a travesty.
I'm not a professional gardener but even I could see the work that has gone into this place.

Amazing wedding yesterday at Abbey House Gardens, the hostess was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She made sure everything was organised and truly attentive to every detail. Stunning house and breathtaking gardens. It was an unforgettable time spent here and I should like to think that one day I might also be able to marry here. Thank you so much for opening up your home and garden to complete strangers and treating us all like friends... More...
