Both of my German Shepherd‘s needed a place to stay for a few days while I traveled that understood their needs. It was difficult to find such a place. Then I found Von Tente. Anke Bachmann was very accommodating and reassuring that my dogs would be taken care of. It was also helpful that I could pick my dogs up later in the evening when I got back. The kennels were clean, and the dogs that were there seemed to be happy and content. When I picked Lanee and Rogan up, they were calm and quiet and seemed just fine. Huge relief to know I have somewhere I can feel confident leaving my dogs when I have to go out of town! Thank you, Anke, for being understanding and helpful! We will definitely be back! I have been using Aas Von Tente Kennels for years for my fur babies. Most kennels are just that a kennel and the workers leave at 5 pm every night. I love the fact that at Aas VonTente the owners live on property so if there is an issue there is a quick response. The owners are friendly have have a great relationship with the dogs they care for.Anke & Veit are awesome and allow you to pick your dog up on any day of the week, so if you are coming back on Sunday you can pick your dog up unlike most kennels who make you wait until Monday.I will keep using them because they truely love what they do. We have used Aas Von Tente Kennels for 5 years! The first time was out of desperation, we had a death in the family and needed to board our large dogs quick. They took very good care of them. The dogs we have now are sometimes aggressive in nature (out of fear) because they were both abused rescue dogs, so we can't trust just anyone with them. The owners here are fully aware of the situation, and do everything possibly to make sure our dogs have a pleasant stay while keeping them and all of the other dogs safe. I feel completely at ease leaving my dogs here. They always answer when we call, and are super-flexible! As long as they are in business, I will be boarding my dogs here!! More...

My dog and I have been using Aas Von Tente for more than two and a half years now. When he was 4 months old, I suddenly had to travel overseas and trusted them with the care of him for fifteen days. A week after coming back, my job took me out of town for another two weeks. Since the first day, he was received as a new member of their family and has felt welcomed and treated with love every time I use their services.
