I needed my gutters replacing along with my small tiled roof. I got several people round but I found Steve to be genuine and good humoured. His long standing knowledge of roofing was invaluable and his solution was perfect - he even did a few extras that he observed while working on the original Job - a bit of lead flashing repair and pointing - at no extra cost.Job done, a bit of remedial required after completion which Steve attended immediately and completed. Needed an urgent roof and gutter repair with a slipped tile breaking my gutter. Prompt service next day, completed on the morning and you wouldn't know that there was a problem. We had this company make our roof waterproof after receiving a recommendation from a friend.Whilst up there, he noticed that our skylight had be tiled over by the previous owners and because he had some "spare perspex", gave us a new skylight free of charge. Unfortunately, recent heavy rain revealed a small leak. Called Steve, and as soon as he was available, he came round and made things right.I like to think you don't know how good a company is until something goes wrong. As he automatically made good the mistake, (without trying to charge extra or make me feel uncomfortable about calling him), and he got the job done in a timeous manner, the least I can do is write this review and give him 5stars.Shame more companies don't have the same straight forward honest trading attitude. I'd had not made any effort to maintain various parts of my house & it needed attention. Steve visited, understood what was my requirements, explained how his solution would be suitable & delivered on his promise. Prompt, efficient, the two week work was explained as he progressed & the final completion was excellent, new roof, new gutters & soffits, even painted the external render.This was a job well done, to a very high standard & with one or two little extras I requested dealt with quickly & at no trouble. recently had a leak due to some roofing work needed doing, i had got some quotes of other companies (one of which was £450 to do something not even necessary). .. Aafordable roofing came to quote me within a couple of hours contacting them and quoted me £150 :) i was amazed with the price difference, and because it was letting water incausing further damage he knew it was quite urgent to do so did it straight away with no hassle. will definitely use again for any work needing to be under taken.
