How long have you been in business?
The company, Glass Box Ltd, trades under the name 'A4 building & Project Management'.
The company was formed in 2003.
What guarantee does your work come with?
All our projects carry a free 5 year structural warranty.
This can be upgraded to an IBG (Insurance Backed Guarantee) warranty for up to 10 years if a customer chooses.
In fact every customer must be offered an IBG as a condition of FMB membership.
What do you love most about your job?
All work completed under my direction is of the highest quality; there are few things in life that measure up to the satisfaction of completing a renovation or build.
Occasionally I still look at photos of projects completed over 20 years ago.
No other career comes even close.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having been in sales for a n umber of years, I bought a derelict house in Reading in 1992 for £44,000 and brought it back to life.
I was entirely bitten, and have never looked back.

By choosing my company, and proceeding on a PM route, your project will be build at COST, plus a fixed PM fee.
A customer can have as much or as little involvement as they choose.
I (Project Manager) carry out my own estimating, bills of quantities, tendering, instructions, daily inspections and quality approval, and site accounts. Essentially my firm takes care of every detail whilst you enjoy the cost benefits of 'self building' but without the risk or worry or time demand usually associated with self building.
