Happy with the work from A1 Remedials.
Turned up to assess the property quickly after initial contact. Prompt quote of costs to damp proof two walls in a listed thatched property.
We had a time restraint because a floor was being fitted and they came out to us quickly. It meant that the damp proof work was done ahead of us decorating and having the floor fitted.
Jordan and Holly worked hard and cleared up after themselves. Pleasant to have around too.
Finished when they said they would, and costs were kept as stated in original quote.
We were going to take the plaster off ourselves to save a bit of money but soon realized that the job was beyond us. They accommodated the extra work of taking off the plaster still within the time frame.
Prompt communication from the office too. :)

Had Paul Overfield to do a survey, he suggested a anti condensation unit to be fitted in the attic. Price was given at £900 fitted.
Had a look online and the unit they were going to install was £350 and was told it would be installed in a couple of hours. £550 for 2 hours labour?

We were initially surveyed by two other businesses, which varied massively in cost. The cheaper of the two let us down twice after being asked to wait 6 weeks for someone to become available! In an act of sheer frustration, I contacted A1 Remedial with our quotes and situation. Not only did they come back straight away, they managed to get someone to us within 48 hours, they gave us an exact time of when someone would be here along with a timeframe of how long the work would take, and they matched our cheapest quote!
