A1 Grooming have been fantastic. Tim has groomed Max a number of times (see my review on his facebook page), and recently he recommended Alex and Lisa as home boarding for Max whist we were away for a long weekend. Alex and Lisa were fantastic, welcoming and super-flexible. We met them beforehand so Max could meet their friendly dogs, and we could ask a number of questions (as every dog owner wants to know!). On the day we left Max with them, Lisa was organised in getting us to fill out a form regarding vet details and his usual routine so we knew he was in great hands. I was really nervous before I left him, but I left for my weekend feeling relieved knowing he was in safe hands and confident he would be happy and have a great time.A bonus - I was sent facebook pictures and updates of Max enjoying his weekend - clearly he was having a great time and this really reassured me!Alex and Lisa, and of course Tim, are really knowledgeable of all things canine. I was even given advice about Max's diet, which he is loving. I would not hesitate to use their services again for Max in the future. Thank you! More...

Fantastic dog groomer and the advice that was given was priceless - so MUCH more than a dog groomer. A1 offer you the complete package and even help with the behaviour of your dog. I used to think that a groom was a case of getting the scissors and cutting - A1 showed us how the front legs should be different to the rear legs etc.Get in quick - whilst you can is my advice! Another great grooming done today by A1 for Pumba, my rather tangled and slightly stubborn shih tzu.. Tim is great, very gentle and caring in approach to Pumba and always does a fantastic job, Pumba is happy and relaxed when he leaves and is happy to return again when the next time comes. Tim is also very knowledgeable and offers great advice for all manner of things, and always has your dogs welfare and care as his highest priority, Pumba has come back looking gorgeous and smelling great - I highly recommend this service and especially for anyone who is nervous of leaving their dog with just anyone, Tim's gentle approach is wonderful and he always has your dogs interests at heart. I have used this groomer several times for both of my boxer dogs. He is very gentle and patient with them and offers me lots of tips and advice on the upkeep of my dogs. I found him to be very knowledgeable on dog behavior, diet and grooming products.I was very happy with the working environment, where i was offered a full tour of the facility and the procedures involved with grooming my dogs. I found it to be very clean and tidy, and i could see the equipment used was to the highest standard.More importantly, i was extremely pleased with the cost and the service in which i received. I didn't know so much dirt come come off of two dogs!I was pleased i was able to pay by card on site or cash if i chose to. I have 3 of my dog's groomed with A1, an old big girl, a 'want to sit down uncooperative fluffy girl and small nervy girl. All have returned happy, calm and looking & smelling great but best of all they all run to greet him if we bump in to him in the park, that's the best reference for me.
