First of all, I love Nicole's personality! And the food was good! So they ran out of plates while setting the tables, work crew didn't know what to do or how to do it, especially as wine pouring and toasting go! There were not enough of the cupcakes (we had in lieu of cake). The decorations could have been more and better, especially at the head table. Our guests had to help with trash, clearing and getting wine and prosecco for toasting to people. The wedding was fantastic and beautiful, though. More...

I'm proud to live in a city where a Union Kitchen exists. Nestled in the heart of Ivy City in NE DC, Union Kitchen is a place for DC food and beverage start ups to use an industrial kitchen and a city wide distribution system to get their product to market. There are 50+ members from businesses making anything from cotton candy to chocolate to ice cream. Union Kitchen has a grocery store near Union Station called Union Kitchen Grocery and it's amazing!From time to time, Union Kitchen opens to the public for fun tasting events.
