My daughter was keen to do the 11+ exam but was very anxious about it and lacked self confidence. She also seemed to have had a dip in her motivation in year 5, which was very out of character. Helen has been instrumental in giving my daughter her love of learning back again. When she leaves her sessions with Helen she is happy and eager to progress. The study sessions have boosted my daughter's confidence and enabled her to calmly walk into the 11+ exam without a single tear (something I had started to think might not have be possible). I have never felt prouder! Helen's advice to me during this process has be invaluable and I feel has prepared my daughter for the next step in her education. Our 10yr old had half a dozen sessions with helen to help prepare for the 11+. He sat 2x mock exams in the summer. The mock exams, being set up the same as exam conditions, were a huge benefit in assisting in his preperation. We are delighted that he succeeded in getting a place in BRGS. More...

My daughter joined a maths tutor group in December last year when she was in year 10 and struggling. After just 6 months tutoring, she did so well in her end of year 10 exams in June, that she has just been moved up a set for her final year of high school and told by the teachers that they feel she can achieve a grade 7 or 8 as opposed to their previous expectations of a 5 or 6. Our daughter has been attending lessons with Helen for just over 6 months.
