Heidi shot my sister's wedding and the photos were SPECTACULAR!  She has such an eye for the perfect lighting and perfect situating of her subjects, she made everybody look like a superstar!  Recommend most highly!

Heidi did my wedding photos and they all looked amazing!  I've spoken with a few photographers before booking her and I noticed right away the difference between: people who just shoot with nice cameras, and people like Heidi who really knows her stuff.  From the beginning she already walked me through what to expect on the wedding day, how much time certain pictures take, and recommendations on maximizing her service.  She gave me a timeline/itinerary and I actually used that to run the program on my wedding and I ended up with all the pictures I wanted.  She also notices little details that makes a big difference on how your pictures would look (hand & foot placements, positionings, necklace clasps showing).  Lastly,  I got all my pictures back in two weeks (which is faster than others).  Also has a very friendly and happy personality, you just wanna smile all the time!!! We could not have found a better photographer. From our initial meeting to picking up the pictures, Heidi went above and beyond. Heidi listened to what we were looking for and absolutely delivered. Heidi is the most amazing photographer! I hired her because I needed professional photos done for my website. Heidi is simply A-MAZING!! Her talent, amazing personality and fast turnaround is off the chart!!! I called her literally inside of 2 weeks (our other photographer cancelled on us and we are from out of town! ) I saw her ratings, called her and she said, "you bet I'll do your wedding!" First off, Heidi is the "BOMB" of a photographer and person!  She is great at what she does and professional.  She provides great photos and excellent customer service.  We hired her for our wedding 8-30-2013 and engagement photos. I hate to be obviously redundant here, but I have to agree with all the 5-star reviews! We hired Heidi for our wedding on 9/22/13, and she was a total rockstar. She was willing to work with a couple of the less-than-typical photo requests we had, and nailed the sunset photos we envisioned on the beach. One of the great things about her work is that she has the personality to organize family/friends, deal with a variety of personalities, and ultimately make sure the post-wedding photo session doesn't bleed into your first anniversary. Trust me, you want this in a photographer. The photos of our wedding are absolutely beautiful. Heidi did a great job capturing the emotions of the day, and taking photos that looked natural and not at all contrived. Heidi is awesome! Matt and I truly enjoyed working with her for our special day. She has a great eye for picking settings for posed shots. She has an even better intuition for candid shots. THE BEST - Heidi is hands down the best photographer my wife and I have ever had! We met Heidi just before she took our engagement photos and she made us feel extremely comfortable from the start which is amazing considering the two of us thought the entire process was going to be weird, to say the least. She took beautiful pictures that we are very happy with and we had an amazing time during the entire process! During the actual wedding Heidi was her normal friendly self, but also very professional. She didn't let anyone or anything stand in the way of taking amazing pictures. I recall her politely asking everyone to wait a couple minutes to take pictures so that the wedding party could focus on one camera only and I am glad she did because it shows in the pictures! I would use Heidi again in an instant and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking! Heidi is a talented photographer and works hard for her customers. She took beautiful pictures of our wedding day and has continued to take family pictures of our growing family for the past 15 years. Heidi was AMAZING and took beautiful photos of our wedding. She was able to work with us to customize a package that fit our desires and price range. More importantly we loved how her bubbly personality was able to put us at ease and catch some great shots that don't looked posed and let our goofiness come through in our photos showing who we really are. She also helped us coordinate everything on the day of and work through a freak rain storm!! Our family has used Heidi's services for years. She is amazing! I found Heidi 14 years ago in the North County times newspaper. It was a full article on Heidi and her girlfriend teaming up to take wedding pictures. Heidi being the photographer and her girlfriend being the make-up artist for the bride. I thought, what a great idea! So, I cut the article out and put it in my dresser drawer. When the day came for me to find a photographer for my wedding day, I pulled out that article and I called her. Heidi and I clicked instantly on the phone. I knew she would be my photographer. My husband and I have had two children and she continues to take breathtaking photographs of our family. One of them, is currently hanging over our fireplace, of us all at the Carlsbad beach at sunset. We get so many compliments on that photograph. I am super un-photogenic and between Heidi and Grant I got over 800 gorgeous images from which to choose. Love the photojournalistic style. We initially chose Heidi because her rate is so reasonable but it's after the contract that you really get to know someone. She was able to charm my demanding father, she was unobtrusive during the wedding and reception (you know how some photogs are), and she was more than generous with package and album arrangement and pricing. She was more patient than I expected with the delays and mulling that went into my album and I have a gorgeous finished product to show for it. We have since used her for a session with my in-laws for a family portrait and also for new baby pics.
