One of my co-workers invited me to come for her birthday party today. We had to wait a good 30-45 minutes for our meal as a group but I gave 4 stars because the food was so good especially the yellow rice.

We’re from Miami and my wife is Cuban so our bar is high but the place was very good. Atmosphere and service was excellent and food was very good. Wanda Lopez performed and she was fantastic. Atmosphere and food were great. I think every evening, at least on the weekends, there is music. I see they also do flamenco and salsa dancing there as well. It makes it feel like I'm in the Caribbean on vacation! The food was also very good - the appetizer, chicken and steak were all good. This was my first visit and I will definitely be a repeat customer. The food was delicious..I had the roast pork, black beans , plantains and chicken empanadas everything was wonderful. .my tastebuds were doing the happy dance..the dipping sauce for the empanadas was so flavorful...the only negative is I feel the wait staff was not attentive but I highly recommend the food if you are a Latin lover!!!!! I live in Cassatt SC and drive 90 minutes to come there the food was great the fish with the shrimp stuffing and avocado cream not so much way over cooked our waitress Jazira she said that she was New was awesome. My biggest problem was the food took a while to come out and they weren’t busy maybe eight tables none larger then a six and maybe 6ppl at the bar and two dues outside. The appetizer sat under the warming lamp to long but we will definitely be back again. FYI it’s the only restaurant sense living her in SC that I went back to more then once. More...

Delicious food and great ambiance! We ate in the main dining room a few months ago on a Saturday evening and experienced live music and customers dancing next to their tables!
What fun! We went last night and the dining room was full, but they have the lounge right next door that serves the full menu and drinks! They also had live music, but this was only one guy playing the guitar. No singing, just beautiful music! It was so lovely! I highly recommend this place for a fun night out in the dining room or the lounge!

Our waitress was Bel... Excellent service from her! She made sure we had fresh bread, had our empanadas and sopa out quickly and as soon as we were done, our entrees were on there way! Only reason it's not 5 stars was because the beans and rice were cold. But they heated it right up (we requested it to be heated up instead of remaking it)! We've been going to piece of Havana every Friday for the past year and have notice the change on quality of food, drinks and customer service. Hopefully someone will make corrections so we can continue to enjoy Piece of Havana restaurant
