I created Sew Handsome Home in 2020 when I rediscovered my passion for sewing. Following the completion of a diploma in the making of curtain and soft furnishings I began to build a customer base. The training I undertook enables me to create traditional handmade curtains, Roman blinds and soft furnishings.

I think ‘the challenge!’ is what first inspired me to go it alone.

Curtain making
I make traditional curtains with either machined pencil pleat tape or hand finished pinch pleats. I am happy to undertake curtains of a maximum of 3 widths up to a 220cm drop.
Roman blinds
Fully trained to create traditional Roman blinds. My blinds are finished to a very high standard with no visible stitching to the face fabric. All layers are interlocked and I can even add a flap to hide the headrail if required.
Please be aware the maximum blind I can accommodate on my work table is approx 185x130cm.
Cushions
I can offer my services in many different types of cushions, both scatter cushions and boxed cushions and these can be piped, plain or flanged.
