Jo's a lovely lady and goes out of her way to help. She's very knowledgeable and has a passion for dogs and they absolutely love her. With guidance and advice from Jo I think I'm finally getting to manage my Romanian rescue Harvey. Harvey is lead reactive, it got to the point I became very disheartened and dreaded the walks. A few weeks ago Jo came to help me with settling a very confused little girl foxy, who was taken from her family very quickly and brought to me and my busy house with children and another dog. Jo came for an hour or so on a Sunday morning and within a day or so I had the dogs sharing the same space. They are now the best of friends and play like sisters and it is just amazing to see the transformation. You can’t always see what’s right in front of you when you’re a loving human because you just deal with the pups from your heart. What do you love most about your job?
The best part about my job is meeting lovely animals and getting to know them and there humans and to build a new positive relationship that's more fulfilling than previously.
Watching the relationship grow and seeing both canine and owner much happier and seeing the bond between them become stronger.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was given 6 weeks to live due to having cancer and when I was on end of life care I had lots of time to think and one regret I had was not following my dream of working with animals and training, behaviour was something Id always done from being a child on the farm and what I loved doing and I was determined that when I beat cancer this is what I was going to do.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm honest,reliable and trust worthy and the extra training I have completed with a fantastic trainer states that it will only take one visit and if you follow the training advised then I will not have to come back. I know it sounds increadable but give me a try and see for yourselves.
Dog walking
I offer a full hour dog walk.
I come to youpick your dog up and walk in your area so your dog gers a full hour walking not put in a van and drove sound for 40 mins
I guarantee a full hour of walking.
1:1 Private Dog Training
I come to your home or place of choice to provide you with a private 1:1 training session for what ever issues your having.
The private sessions are an hour long.
Puppy Training course
The puppy training is a 6 week course.
This is held at Midgeland riding school in the indoor arena which is safe and secure, there's 6 people in the group.
Other training groups are available to like adolescent groups.
Residential training
Residential training is for people who just simply don't have the time needed to train due to work,family commitments.
This training is in a home from home environment and includes socialisation plus more.
Home from Home Boarding
Instead of putting your dog in kennels why not let them come and enjoy all the comforts of a home and meet new friends and have there own little holiday.
