This program offers very flexible hours of operation, an attentive trainer available at all times, great variety of exercises that are constantly revolving and changing. The trainers! I like the trainers being there for me every time I'm there (at no extra charge). They show me the right way to do the exercises and help keep me motivated to push myself a little more. This is way I choose 9round over the other gyms I looked at this spring. More...

My wife started at 9 Round about a month an a half ago.  I decided to purchase the 6 month membership option (with family discount) about three weeks ago.  Here are a couple notes (not much different than the thorough review preceding mine: - 9Round training is designed to be a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout; however, the workout is very much at your own pace.  You pay for the membership, you can choose what you want to do.  That being said, if you deviate from the established training plan (selected each day and posted to white boards at each station), you'll need to work around the customers that are adhering to the plan.   - Workouts are ~30 minutes long (3min each station, 30 seconds between stations, 9 stations). - The workouts change each day and are great for muscle confusion. - If you already have a weight training program, these workouts will blend well with you current plan.  I do not (however) think that these workouts are a good substitute for weight training. - The trainers are very personable and will adapt to your skill level.  Some people come in with no experience with boxing (my wife) and others come in with a [decently] strong history of boxing. - I use 9 Round to provide my second workout of the day and I'm never disappointed...always dripping sweat when I finish.- If you get a membership (not sure what length) 9 Round also sends a periodic nutrition newsletter with very good information.Final thought:  I would recommend 9 Round to anyone. Just finished a 30 minute workout at 9round, and WOW was it intense.  The facility is new with all new equipment.  Basically, the 30 minute workout consists of 9 different stations doing different exercises to include a variation of punching, kicking, high knees, core work, and plenty of explosive cardio (it really is a full body workout).  The two and a half minutes of the round is doing the exercise that is assigned to the station, then the last 30 seconds is when you go all out.  Upon completion, the group then does 30 seconds of whatever the trainer instructs (pushups, sit-ups, etc) prior to moving to the next station.  The time is then repeated at the next station until you've completed all 9 stations.  It was my first time at 9round, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I will say I am very happy I checked it out.  I would say that I'm in somewhat decent shape, but there were individuals (both young and old) who were not, so don't let that be discouraging.  I guess it is really up to the individual as to what their goals are and what they are trying to get out of the class, but I will say there was plenty of motivation from not only the trainer, but also the group.  If they can do it, I can do it.  Yes, there were instances when I did have to slow it down a little because my muscles were burning and yes, I was that guy slouched over with my hands on my knees, dripping with sweat, trying to catch my breath, but there was no negativity, only support.  9round is definitely a great place for a great workout and I'm definitely going back.But first, I need a nap.
