I just realized I've never left a review for my favorite tax guys! I've been with 9Financial for a few years now. Keith and Shane are running a stand up operation. These guys call back right away, text back right away, and reply to emails just as fast. I just sent out a late night email at 10pm and got back a reply within the hour! I received a shocking tax bill on a Friday evening and it nearly gave my a panic attack. I called several tax firms but Keith at 9Financials was the only one who had picked up my call right away and scheduled an appointment on Sunday. After discussing the case on Sunday, Keith assured me that it will be taken care of. Within a week, he clarified the problem with IRS, redid the tax, and mailed it to IRS. In the process, he was always responsive to my emails, even late at night. His prompt responses gave me the peace of mind I needed in that situation. Because of his professionalism, I was able to go on vacation knowing it will be handled. Several weeks later, I received a letter from IRS confirming my tax bill had been corrected. Shane did a great job for us! We had been handling our increasingly complex taxes until we knew we needed a professional, but I had no expectation that the result of his services would be this dramatic of an improvement! Not only did he assist us in handling our multiple 1099s, but he helped find errors made in my previous return at H&R Block that enabled me to refile and get a refund.

The real reason for a five-star review is the service and confidence we have with Shane. From the first moment we walked in, he was courteous, professional and really listened to our issues. We were delighted with the level of attention to detail and to our personal needs. He was extremely timely. We typically got same-day responses, quick requests for specific data, and a level of patience and attention I would not have expected. He's also setting us up for a more efficient 2015. My business was a complete mess. I hadn't done taxes in years, I had no way of tracking all my expenses, and my employees were getting paid by check and cash and it wasn't documented. I was on the hook to pay tens of thousands in taxes that I was not able to write off, and they helped completely organize my company. Shane met with me and went over a plan to complete the bookkeeping, payroll and taxes for my company. I've been working with Shane & Keith Bien for my business & taxes & am very happy with their personal financial advice, help & always available service. To have people who actually care about what they do & have the integrity to care about what I do, beyond just working for works sake, is a rare find, in this day & age.I've owned & operated my store for over 26 years & have been working, since I was 8, so I have plenty of experience with financial advisers & tax accountants.I'm hesitant to recommend these gentlemen too highly because I don't want them to get too busy for me- however I know that their personal service is forever available because that is the way they do business.10 stars. I can't say enough about these guys.  I lost my CPA of many years suddenly and was desperate to find a new one.  My taxes are a bit complicated -- small business, freelancer, entertainment.  I met Keith Bien of 9Financial through a Neighborhood app.  He reached out and at first I was thinking, hmmm...this guy's reaching out to me.  How good can he be.  The answer?  THE BEST!  I met with him and was instantly impressed with his knowledge, his warm personality and efficiency.  In two weeks he had done two years' worth of Federal and State returns better than I've ever had them done.  I was truly amazed!  I highly recommend this company. After years of doing my own taxes, I ran into some issues with the IRS.  Confused and a little overmatched, I enlisted the help of Shane and Keith at 9Financial. They were able to quickly resolve my tax issues for very reasonable fees.  Looking back, I wish I had gone to them years ago. Besides avoiding IRS penalties, I probably would have received much better tax refunds.  Going to a CPA from the start would have saved me a lot of money in the long-run.  The fees are beyond reasonable based on the fact that their services pay for themselves and then some. I started my company a couple years ago and never took the time to do the proper accounting. My tax situation was a mess, my personal and business charges were all mixed up and I needed someone to help me go through all my records and get organized. I researched a few different companies and had negative feelings about their approach: "Just estimate and give me the numbers for tax." WHAT?! Um, I don't want to be audited! Anyways, I found 9Financial and Shane was very accommodating to my needs, informative and very helpful. I was stressed out about my 2013 taxes because I bought a place, sold stock, and moved money around last year which made it a bit more complicated but Keith and Shane took care of everything for me. I had very complicated personal and business taxes that I would otherwise have taken forever and a day to try and plug into turbotax.  I handed the 9financial team all my paperwork in one swoop and weeks later got a refund bigger than I could have ever imagined doing it myself through turbotax.  Not to mention the time and money saved!
