What do you love most about your job?
We can't wait to meet the next dog and her people. The most ordinary looking dogs fascinate us. We enjoy working with people too. A big payoff for us is being part of overcoming challenges and the deepening of relationships; and, of course, the joy that dogs bring.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We had a vision about training services and how they could be delivered to people. We knew that there were people that wanted more from their dogs and were willing to give more of themselves.
Why should our clients choose you?
For people who want more, we deliver more. We view ourselves as professionals and act accordingly. We never blame clients for failures. We listen carefully and are patient coaches.
Our professional development in terms of formal education in animal behavior and our life experience as dogs trainers and people coaches is as extensive as you'll find in our profession.
New Puppy Phone Consult
We recommend phone consults for the first two weeks of raising a new puppy (8-10 weeks of age). Together, we'll discover your puppy's individual needs, allowing us to balance your puppy's temperament. Through the use of written and graphic information, you'll learn how to help your new puppy adjust to home and lifestyle.
Puppy Development
There is an art to raising a puppy to be the best, happiest companion possible. Together, we'll discover the methods that your puppy responds to best. We make gaining new skill easy for you and your puppy by providing close support and clear coaching. Raising a puppy is fun and easy, when you understand your puppy's needs.
We provide Puppy Development in Private Lessons and Board & Train.
Adolescent and adult dogs
Most of our clients choose to train their dog with a combination of private lessons and small brief groups. This arrangement provides the best of both worlds; focused classes with individual attention and an opportunity to proof your dog to distractions.
For those not inclined to do a the training themselves, we provide Board & Train services in a home setting.
Problem Behaviors
We have experience with Remedial Housebreaking for older puppies and dogs (5 months plus), all types of Aggression, Fears & Phobias, Separation Anxiety. We begin by speaking with on the phone before scheduling an in-person evaluation.
Service Dogs
We can evaluate your dog for service work or help you find a possible prospect for training. We train dogs for service work in Private Lessons and Board & Train.
Our area of expertise is in Mobility Assistance and Emotional Support.
