The Simi Valley Community Needs to Know that Mark Mireles is an accused rapist and owns 805 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, teaches KIDS and WOMEN and NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED!!!



I recently signed my daughter for the Krav Maga self defense class because she was being bullied at school. A friend told me that the owner was an LAPD officer who was highly decorated and a great instructor and martial artist.

My daughter really liked the Krav Maga class and I was also encouraged to have her try the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class as well. She tried it and liked it. The Krav Maga and Jiu Jitsu was taught my Coach Christian who was very nice.

I didn't meet the owner, Mark Mireles, until he showed up one day and taught the kids class that my daughter was taking. It was very uncomfortable to see how angry he was, how he immediately punished the children, how mean he was to the kids, and just what a horrible energy he had overall. He was incredibly unfriendly and appeared to be in a very bad mood.

After kids class I told my husband that I was literally afraid to talk to Mark because I saw that he was speaking to Christian and was clearly angry. I thought Mark was going to attack Christian right on the spot he was so enraged with something.

It was so uncomfortable that his angry tone, his open use of profanity in front of kids, and overall berating of Christian just made me want to leave and never come back.

I asked my daughter how she liked the class and she told me, Mom, Christian is nice, but I am very scared of Coach Mark because he is very mean to the kids and I don't want him to punish me like he did to the others.

We left, and never came back. I told my friend who referred me to 805 BJJ the story and she informed me that he also left 805 BJJ because she recently learned that Mark Mireles has a very dark history.

She told me that Mireles was accused of raping, sodomizing and assaulting his own children's 21 year old baby sitter, which simply horrified me. I could not believe that this man teaches kids and women in Simi Valley. She also said that Mark has an very bad reputation of being a bully, a thug and simply mean to women who train at 805 BJJ as has no problem showing his anger and throwing parents out of his school if they speak up in any way.

The local community needs to know that this man is an absolute monster and has close contact with kids and women and needs to be EXPOSED to the local community.

I am very thankful that we left and never came back to 805 Jiu Jitsu and ended by going another local Jiu Jitsu school where my daughter loves the teachers, kids and classes. She is learning and thriving and is very happy and is not scared to death of her instructor.

Make sure you check out the background of your children's martial arts teachers because I was also horrified to find out how many Brazilian Jiu Jitsu owners and teachers were arrested for sexually assaulting their students including children. More...
