OMG YAY YAY YAY!  We moved from Las Colinas 10 years ago and this was our favorite Friday night spot for fish tacos and margaritas! We happened to be on MacArthur Blvd for a job Friday and were looking for somewhere to have a late lunch.  Lo & Behold, tucked behind all the huge trees that have grown there since we moved away, I saw the sign!  It's STILL THERE!  Nothing has changed inside except they added a Salsa Bar.  It was like old times!!!The menu has added a Vegetarian section so I was good to go.  I had the Avocado Enchiladas with (replaced) tomatillo sauce.  They were soooooo good!  And so was my margarita.  Beware of the bright orange salsa in the bar, it's uber .The waiter was super cool and if we are ever on that side of town, we'll be back.  We ate at 2:30 and I wasn't hungry again until lunch the next day! Had lunch on a Wednesday with the office. Tortilla soup is delicious; order by the cup as a starter or by the bowl with sides. Chicken salad is served in a tortilla shell. Friendly staff and fast service! More...

Food was great our waiter was great!! But just know it’s not child friendly . A drunk woman who’s boyfriend broke up with her came out on the patio. Where we were having a lovely dinner .. she starts crying and cussing hysterically .. scaring my 7 year old niece . I asked the manager if he could please say something .. pretty much he got irritated with me and pretty much said I should understand what she’s going thru and I probably been thru something similar .. was not helpful or friendly about the situation but went to check on the 50 year old drunk crybaby and asked her if she needed anything and brought her water.. smh More...

In response to the service dog review: the woman came in with a dog that had on a regular, colorful harness on, not appearing as a service dog at all. After she was turned away, she came back in and put her cell phone in the manager/owner's face saying he was wrong. She then approached a patron, who was at dinner with his wife and children and proceeded to use vulgar language toward him in response to his efforts of backing up the manager when she first arrived. Good margaritas and the food was basic but good. Big draw is the 7 salsas. #1 they bring to the table. Very tomato y. Big draw is the salsa bar with roasted jalapeños and 6 more salsas. I would definitely recommend this place. Oh my gosh the Buffet on Sunday is amazing!!!! I had a party of 7 and the availability of each item was not only fresh but never empty. The stations were clean and the servers were tentative to my requests and questions. In the past I had their vegetarian style enchiladas and loved them. Came here for the first visit today and have to say I was pretty impressed!   I was with a group of 5 from work and we all liked it a lot. Lunch started with a warm greeting from Claudio, our waiter.  He was an amazing server from start to finish!We ordered the table side guacamole,which was delicious and one of my coworkers complimented it as probably the best she has had anywhere.  We also ordered the queso primo, which while delicious was a bit too heavy on the sour cream that was in it.  All of the other flavors blended beautifully together and made a top-notch flavored queso.My main course where the steak tacos.  They are street-style, served with cilantro and onions.  They were good, but not anything that I have not had better elsewhere.  Overall, it was a really great experience and I will be back! Excellent food and outstanding service!! They have some of the best salsas and a great selection of more than 7 salsas (hence the name I guess lol). Their chili relleno and old style enchiladas were delicious, our daughter loved the quesadillas and I really liked the chimichanga. My wife and I went here on a Sunday around 11:15 am. It was the brunch buffet!  They had a variety of enchiladas - cheese, beef and chicken with 4 different sauces - I chose the traditional sauce because I didn't really know what the others were!  They had a taco bar, small burritos, a variety of toppings that were all good. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was so authentic that I didn't know what about half of the items were. They had menudo and I knew that was tripe. They had a mole sauce item that I thought was a stuffed bell pepper but I think it was a pigs foot - still very good but I wouldn't have gotten it if I would have known. Same with something by taco bar I chose that did not take like I expected. They had sweet bread and flan our as well. Would have liked it better if could have ordered off the menu to see what things were. Also, would have liked it better if signs up with what items were or ingredients etc. More...

If authentic Mexican food is what you are looking for, this is the right place! I've frequented this place for years now and it has yet to disappoint! Everything from the chips and salsa, to the main dishes are delicious! My favorites by far are the Pollo Poblano, Enchiladas, Nachos and the Quesadillas. The patio's view is incredible. Came in after a graduation we had just attended. The restaurant was decorated nicely and the staff was really helpful. I ordered the LC's chicken and it was delicious! The sauce they used was amazing definitely recommend it. I did try their beef fajitas and they were good also. We ordered a few drinks as well- raspberry lemonade margarita, house margarita, and a pineapple sunrise and they did not disappoint. They weren't too sweet or not strong enough they were perfect. Drove over an hour just to eat here based on several recommendations. Instantly became my favorite Mexican place. Great chips and salsa. Friendly, professional staff. Had lunch here with my sister in law and she said she really liked this place so I decided to check it out. It had a patio area which she was looking forward to until I broke her heart and said no because I was cold. I ordered the quesadillas and they were pretty good. Came here to have dinner with my parents and my in laws. We were seated immediately. They obviously have tasty salsas which is my jam. Ordered a couple margaritas but my fiancee's orders were wrong twice. The first round of frozen margs (which we didn't order) were way too sweet. Almost undrinkable but my fault for not saying anything. Second round were much much better. Combo fajitas for the whole table and they were great! Slow, sleepy Mexican spot.  Stopped in on a Sat evening.  The good:  Tacos Al Carbon were the bomb.  Really well seasoned and cook on the beef.  Wife had tamale plate and they were authentic and had a deep, slow cooked flavor.  They have a fresh salsa bar and when I asked for "mas picante" they had the answer.  Habanero salsa that melted parts of my face.   Service was spotty at best.  Maybe not the place if you are in a hurry.  Margarita was only ok.  Tasted a bit like bottled mix.   If you are feeling some tacos or tamale, give it a shot. This place is fantastic. It's not easily spotted, but it's super convenient right off of MacArthur Blvd, just beyond 635 in Irving. We've ordered take-out from them and dined in. Both times we had great service and delicious food. The employees there also seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and that says a lot about this place. This is the best casual dining Mexican restaurant around. The service is exceptional. They have great tacos and a full bar. They have several salsas but the house salsa is fresh and warm. Chips are good as well. I could have just chips and salsa and be satisfied. Definitely try the tortilla soup and chimichanga when you get a chance. This is my favorite Tex-Méx restaurant. Their margaritas are always perfect. Definitely try their guac and queso. Hubs and I usually share their fajitas for two. Also love their Sunday brunches where we can customize our own Mexican style omelettes. Happy hour is a must, if you're ever in the area! I've ordered delivery from this place a few times when the craving strikes but I can't get away from work. In a nutshell this place is pretty solid and always hits the spot. Even for a delivery order they provide a generous portion of chips and salsa complimentary which is a nice touch. The chips are good, not too greasy, and the salsa is interesting. I can't identify all the flavors and ingredients in it and I think that's the point. It's different than what I'm used to, but I suppose a nice change from the norm. It's got a touch of heat, but it's not spicy, so be warned if that's your line in the sand with Mexican places.I can't stray away from the pick two lunch combo and it's a really good deal at $8.95. I've tried a few things here and the tacos are pretty satisfying, more so than the tostadas. My last order was the flautas and crispy chicken enchilada. This meal always comes with rice and beans and the food is always hot when it arrives. The enchilada was really good, though it was too heavily coated in the queso sauce, making it a little harder to cut. The taste and texture of the enchilada itself was pretty good though! For the price I pay, this quality exceeds expectations. Their rice and beans always are above expectations as well, I always wish there was more rice with the combo, it's always properly cooked and yummy enough to finish.This last time was the first time I've tried their flautas and they were EXTREMELY good. The first thing I noticed is I wish I had two more. They were sooo good, really tasty and had the perfect amount of crisp. My experience at 7 Salsas has always been excellent. From the friendly host/hostess when I walk in, to the staff who have waited on me, everyone has been professional and extremely attentive. The shredded chicken tacos are the best I've had anywhere, beef fajitas are delicious, and the chips & salsa have always been fresh. It's always been clean when I've eaten there and the restaurant has a pleasant and fun atmosphere.I've never had any problem and have witnessed the staff, including management, working hard to ensure guests are taken care of.I would recommend 7 Salsas to anyone! So many good things to say about this place! To be fair queso and tableside guac are nothing to write home about but everything else is great! !!! My husband and I eat her regularly favorite things to get are steak tacos, regular crunchy beef tacos and sour cream fajita chicken enchilada. They have the best enchilada I have ever had! The pina colada and the sangria are sooo fantastic and made well. The have a great patio with comfortable booths to sit in. This is a hidden gem so it's rarely ever slammed we  always get seated immediately service is fast staff very friendly. Good portions oh! And great baracho beans and rice. Highly highly recommended!
