I cannot recommend 5minutephotobooth enough! Ron is so lovely and friendly and the booth looked amazing at our wedding reception. Our friends and family loved the props and the instant snaps and we have some cracking pictures as a result. it was a lovely touch to pick out our album on the night and then receive it sealed, with a bow the next day, as our maid of honour had been tasked with looking after it until the morning. I was at a friends wedding a couple of weeks ago - one of several in the last year so I've seen quite a few photo booths but nothing as spectacular as the big inflatable. These guys were just so much fun and had more props than I've ever seen - I mentioned this to the attendant who showed me boxes more props under the table. He was very patient with the 2 elderly couples who wanted a go and incredibly tolerant of the kids, though the younger ones did need their parents. I have now booked these guys for my own wedding late next year and know that is one thing I don't need to worry about. More...

Limited space at our venue and wasn't sure we would fit the photo booth in. What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
People have great fun in our Photo Booths.
After a busy day of formal photographs, posed or candid, you and your guests will want to unwind and have some fun. This is where our Photo Booths really come into their own. We love to see people having fun and do our best to encourage them to be a little bit silly, or at the very least a bit informal. We get some great expressions and people often squeeze in close for fun pictures. The results speak for themselves.
What photo booth props do you offer?
We carry a wide selection of props with wigs, hats and inflatable toys being the most popular. If there is a particular theme to your event then if we can we bring along some that are particularly appropriate so we have additional selections for Christmas, Halloween, and weddings. If we can, we will supplement our usual selection for other themes such as milestone birthdays, 1950’s, 60’s or 70’s events.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
With over 25 years in professional photography, we know that the most important thing (after the technical stuff) is in eye contact and expression. We like to have your guests relax and look at the camera for the pictures.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Because our clients satisfaction is important to us, we cover our bookings personally and we don’t franchise out to others. So the most important questions will be when, where, and what the event is. Some venues work better than others and we prefer to work in large rooms where all the guests are. We find that if we are in a different room to the main event, we find that evening is not as successful.
What do you love most about your job?
We love being around people having fun and make sure they enjoy themselves. We also get to wear the props and be silly too. Fun all round – no better way to spend an evening.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having been in event photography for over 25 years, I’ve always known that having the results as soon as possible was very important to our clients. Now digital cameras and instant photo quality printers are available and all that technology can be combined and easily used by the guests themselves while they are having fun – how brilliant is that!
