Now called The Fig & The Pheasant. We ate there a few weeks ago. The food and service were good, but we were glad that one of the members of our group, who needs a walker to get around, wasn't with us, because there is no handicapped access. We were told that the entrance could not be remodelled because the building is historic. More...

The new owners are doing a great job with the old 52 Stafford, they are pleasant and interesting pair. The FCC ood was very good and the pours were to the plus side. Go see it, worth your trip.

This hotel is a gem. The rooms and service are impeccable. If you like history it’s the longest running hotel in Wisconsin. ( and the corned beef and Irish coffee are the best we’ve ever had) More...

We met the new owners and welcome the name change to Fig and Pheasant. The food and the service was exceptional and with the Wednesday night live music, it was a delightful evening.

Kind of quirky. Parking was inadequate. Restaurant mentioned on the listing was not open. Carpet in lobby and dining area was very dirty.

The place reminded me of places we stayed in Ireland. Nothing complicated, a clean room, a pleasant bar and a friendly staff. ||The room was pretty basic. It had a shower with no tub. There was a four post bed and all the necessities. Simple and inviting. More...

Everything we ordered was delicious. My boyfriend’s entree was a bit cold, but the friendly staff totally compensated. Even though it was cold, it tasted great and they gave us free desert/drink. I recommend and would return!

This is a pleasant, older hotel. Having lived in Ireland, I can honestly say that it has the feel of an older Irish guesthouse. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated them. The hotel was clean. The rooms are very quiet. There was ample parking. There is live Irish music on Wednesday evenings. As one would expect, the hotel lacks some of the amenities of a newer hotel (the television reception wasnt very good, the bed wasnt the most comfortable, there are no exercise facilities). The biggest drawback was the free continental breakfast. It was poor, so I skipped it after the first day (my Raisin Bran was very stale, my wifes quiche had an underdone pastry top, and the coffee wasnt very good). All in all, this was a pleasant place to stay in Plymouth. If the hotel wishes to upgrade, a better breakfast would be great. More...
