Great place, great athmospere and friendly staff. Watched some footy there and played pool. And the best thing was that they were able to find us a channel that showed Finland wiping the floor with Canada in the ice-hockey world championships! If you want to watch sports and play pool in a friendly place, you should go there. We are coming back next year! We are staying up! More...

Great staff and friendly atmosphere will be using this place regular and good beer and selection. Loved the samosas and only £2. 50 a pint of what I was drinking on match day. Definitely recommend it's the old dungeon club. The owner told me they are working on a few pool tables soon to added and also the garden which is massive will be awesome in summer...can't wait and mixed grills on the menu soon take a look tell them Roathy sent ya lol More...

Had great time twice during our visit In Southampton. Great atmosphere, tasty beer, friendly service and quality pool table.
Also when asked, found channel for icehockey wc and finns beat Canada 5-1.

We won a voucher for this place so thought we'd try it out as I wouldn't usually visit Bevois Valley, I'll say this I will definitely go back to 5 Rivers because the food was superb!
The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was fun and really friendly.
