With a major event only a few weeks out, I realized we were without any type of sound system to use for a 140+ person event, outside, under a tent. I reached out to 4th Street and received a response almost immediately. The were able to commit even on the short timeline and were excellent at communicating the process, equipment, etc. On our event day they arrived promptly, setup and tested the equipment quickly and oriented me to the entire system. They even provided listening music for the lunch portion of my event for guests to enjoy. Truly customer service that is second-to-none. We used them for our wedding and they were awesome. Perfect set up for both a DJ and just playing music on your phone. Set us up for both the ceremony and reception. Quick coming in and setting up and super easy to work with. So accommodating and responsive to our emails and requests. Scott and Michelle worked together to set up and run our sound rental for our small wedding ceremony, and they were fabulous. Very easy to plan with and incredibly responsive - Scott even emailed me back initially while he was on vacation! They worked in particular to make sure we had just what we would need for our ceremony to be able to hear everything clearly (even with a bus station nearby) and play our music selections, while being thoughtful about costs for us. What do you love most about your job?
Exceeding our clients expectations. I love the look in people's eyes when we first fire up the gear and they can actually hear what it sounds like. They quickly realize this isn't the kind of gear that the DJ brought to the last party they were at; this is real professional sounding gear at the same price.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am also a member of a local Blues/Rock band. when we first starting gigging we were getting just as many compliments on the sound as we were the band itself. since I owned and set up all the sound gear, I though that maybe I should start a little side business renting it out. In less than year we had more sound rental business than we had band gigs and the rest is history.

Sound System Speaker Rentals For Weddings
One of our specialties is renting sound systems for wedding receptions. we offer a comprehensive package for those who wish to handle the music for their reception themselves. It includes two main speakers, two sub woofers, a wireless mic for toasts, a corded mic , an easy to use 4 channel mixer and any cabling that is need to connect to your phone, laptop or iPod. Like all of our systems we deliver, set up, test and then retrieve after your event. This is priced at a fixed price of $345 plus a delivery fee of $2.00 a mile (measured only one way) from zip code 17347. We can deliver as early as the day before your wedding and retrieve the day after if requested.
