What makes a great website?
Ultimately, a great website is one that delivers value to both its users and its owners, driving engagement, conversions, and business growth while leaving a positive impression that encourages repeat visits and referrals.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When starting a new project with a client, asking the right questions is crucial to gather all necessary information and ensure a successful outcome. Here are some of the questions we will typically ask:
- What are the primary goals and objectives for your website?
- What are your needs, preferences, and pain points?
- How would you describe your brand's personality and values?
- Do you have existing content (text, images, videos) for the website, or will content creation be part of the project?
- Will you need assistance with content creation, such as copywriting or photography?
- What is your desired timeline for completing the project?
- Do you have a budget range allocated for this project?
Describe your creative process.
Initiate. Our process begins by initiating discussions with the client to identify the project requirements, goals, and target audience. In addition, we use this time as an opportunity to learn about our client, their industry, customers, and competitors.
Design. The design phase starts with creating a sitemap and establishing key pages and their relationships. From there, a site wireframe is created to establish a design layout. Once approved, the site design and user experience is developed.
Code. Primary site architecture is programmed, functionality is added, and content is implemented. Throughout development, the project will be uploaded to our sandbox environment, giving our client the ability to review all progress in real time.
Deploy. After a project has been completed, reviewed, and approved by the client, it is ready to deploy. Our team establishes a launch plan, sets up the server, and deploys the site. After deployment, all final testing is performed and all concerns are addressed.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
