I've been training here for a little over a couple of months, and here is the honest, objective truth on it: best gym in Parkland county period! Its a private owner/operator facility, with an emphasis on the weight section instead of a gymnasium sized cardio centre. The members are good, with a majority higher then any other local gym I've been to, using proper gym etiquette and hygeine which is great. Size wise, it's the biggest in Stony, but the Tri-Leisure Centre in Spruce is quite large - however, the 'Tri' is basically everything any serious lifter wants to avoid! Highly recommend Chop Shop as a must see fitness centre for Parkland county residents; and their personal training/trainers have something to challenge and encourage anyone whether your just starting out, or are a seasoned vet in the weight pit See you there! I signed up at Chop Shop recently, ready to make a change in my lifestyle. Lucas went through all of the machines and weights with me. I signed up for a few sessions with him training me and I feel amazing! He kicked my butt this week and taught me so many things about what I need to succeed. This gym is fantastic! The reason I decided to join this gym, is because Lucas is a young business owner and fellow entrepreneur. I would much rather support him than a huge gym owned by who knows who. I hired Lucas to create a workout and meal plan for myself and he then taught me how to use the equipment and do the exercises properly and safely. I now go to the gym on my own and use the plan he gave me. Win win! I would highly recommend you check this local beauty of a gym out! I've been going to this gym steady for 3 months and I feel compelled to write this review. This gym is absolutely outstanding, clean, affordable, accommodating. It doesn't matter when I go, I never have issues finding a workout to do. The fact it's 24 hours gives me the ability to work out when my schedule isn't in my favor. Working with Lucas and Chop Shop Physiques the last few weeks on their new website has been an entirely rewarding experience.
