I was referred to Akib by a friend of mine that got married in March 2014. I attended that wedding and remember thinking that their DJ and MC did a fantastic job so I didn't look any further.
Akib was very responsive and we booked him right away. His prices are extremely fair for what he offers and trust me, you don't want to skimp on the DJ!! One of our friends biggest regrets was going cheap on the DJ and you truly get what you pay for.
Akib brought Shawn to be our MC and we couldn't be happier with him. He did an excellent job keeping the party going and has some pretty awesome dance moves to boot. They are a great team and who listen to what you want out of your wedding and make it happen.
You get access to an online music gallery and I highly recommend you take the time to add the songs you want to hear. It gives them an idea of your style and ensures you hear the songs that will make your day magical.
Use DJ Akib, you won't regret it! Everyone loved the music and we kept the dance floor packed right till the end.

Unbelievable! Akib did an amazing job at our wedding last month. Our biggest mission when finding a DJ was that we wanted a high energy wedding. We didn't want to bore our guests. Akib did just that! Everyone was dancing the whole night. This company is on the more expensive side, but well worth the money. I used DJ Akib Entertainment for my college graduation party which turned out to be a huge success! It was at the Marriot downtown and was a themed party where everyone had to wear white. I met with DJ Akib before the event twice just to go over things because I wanted everything to be perfect. He was very nice, and did everything to assure me the night was going to turn out okay. The night of the event, DJ Akib and his set up crew arrived early and had everything set up almost an hour before the event even started. They started the music early as well, just so people had something to listen to while walking in. All of the requests I made, and friends made throughout the night he had and played right away. He had us ALL dancing, the whole night! I had a fear people were going to leave early and hit up the clubs downtown, but everyone actually stayed and Akib stayed an hour longer to keep the party going! I had a blast, he was great, and my sister already booked him for her HS graduation party in June. Thanks so much for everything, writing this review was the least I could do! More...
