Just called to order take out and was told there not taking take out orders till at least 7:30 tonight, so call back after that time. There reason is there kitchen is busy with dine in customers. I find this odd since they only have there patio open. This patio is always open as well as there restraunt when they were aloud and they kept up with take out. Upon arrival the entrance was cold in temperature. The fires should have been on earlier or heat put on. The hostess was friendly and attentive. The waitress was lovely and not too chatty and the service was quick and efficient. Burgers were excellent. Visiting here from NS, sat and within seconds had our water. The waiter Emily was bang on with suggested drinks. Our burgers were delicious. We returned for a golf game and were drawn in once again. Again greeted by Emily and what a wonderful dinner. The curry rice bowl... an amazing selection of super fresh and perfectly cooked veggies and an abundance of chicken. My wife and I took our granddaughter for dinner.We shared the Warm Olives & Artisan Bread - it was very good and just enough to prepare us for dinner. Our granddaughter had the Beyond Burger while my wife had Peppercorn Burger - both of them were pleased with their choices.I had the Autumn Plate Blackened Chicken. I was not sure what to expect, but I was very pleased with the presentation and flavor. The portion was quite large and very filling.We were going to share a bottle of wine, but unfortunately our granddaughter did not have her ID. Good for the server to check, next time we will make sure she brings it. Our granddaughter finished off with the Ice Cream Sandwich - she said it was very good and fit with her vegan choices.The service was good. The staff friendly and made us feel welcome and appreciated.We went on a Wednesday and did make reservations. This was for our 24 Wedding Anniversary and exceeded our expectations in every way. The place was quite busy for 5:30 and I am glad I made the reservation a day ahead, but was in no way too noisy or lacking in service or friendliness from the staff who served us (Kasia/Kayla). I had the 9oz braised short ribs (melt in your mouth) and hubby had the filet of beef tenderloin prawn + scallop embrace with gluten free tarragon cream ('Wow' was his comment) To drink, Kayla recommended the Smoked Tequila Mule and the Allen Gamble, which were so so good, thanks for the suggestion. Since it was our anniversary, Kayla said "dessert is on US", how nice is that? 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar made a great first impression with its impressive carved totem figures at the wooden entry doors, use of natural materials, and reserved table for two by the window overlooking the golf course. Service was prompt but without pressure to rush through the meal, even as the dining room filled with the lunch crowd and the noise level rose.Not being a burger fan, I chose seafood chowder and steamed buns, from the appetizer menu, along with a glass of wine and, after the meal, a coffee. Golfers should get priority seating after a round or you should stop calling yourself 19 as in 19th hole. Or did you forget you're a golf course?
