A decent wine bar with good selection of wines from inexpensive to premium. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and a good place for medium and small events with a drink. They serve some food as well.

5 mins from the Westgate Centre, we went there as we couldnt get a table anywhere in the new part.
The Castle quarter could be so nice but has never taken off.

Friendly, open, airy wine bar with a terrace overlooking Oxford's Castle complex (formerly the Old Prison, and a popular movie set). By-the-glass selection changes regularly so always something new to try; very good selection of nibbles to accompany the wines. Natural, biodynamic, and even orange wines on offer, although the more exciting items are by-the- bottle only, so bring friends. About time there was a wine bar with a bit of class in the centre of Oxford. It's been a long time since I have found a welcoming and upmarket bar that is on par with those of our European cousins.
This place has great wine, fantastic locally brewed Kraft beers and friendly staff.
