I am the both the driver off the van in & I am also a rite limb amputee & hold a blue badge which allows the person who the badge is issued to to park in a disabled bay Providing it is displayed on the car u are traveling in.
& on this particular day the lady’s car was NOT DISPLAYING a badge off entitlement I did not see the lady or her children & wen I asked a mc Donald’s staff if a disabled person was present with the car He did not kno & he noted that the car was parked in violation of the blue badge rules I did Not kno there was a disabled person in the car until I went out & was approached by the driver who pointed out she had a disabled person in the car & when asked wher her blue badge was she sed in her Bag It is impossible to tell if a car has a disabled person in it if they do Not show blue badge in windscreen now I apologise for my part haw ever I see people all to often parking in Disabled bays without displaying the relevant badge of entitlement who are just abusing those spaces.
If You Have a Blue Badge display it it’s visible proof we need those spaces & if u don’t have it u can NOT PARK IN DISABLED SPACES people are not mind readers we don’t all have Cristal balls & a traffic warden will issue a ticket No matter what excuse you use No blue badge is No blue badge More...
