Another 5 star review for Actualite Event and Design staff. We got married just a couple weeks ago, and this is one of the first reviews I was anxious to write when we got back from our honeymoon. My mom was the one who insisted on having a coordinator for the last few weeks before the big day, and I thought it was something silly and unnecessary. Boy was I wrong! It was SO great having Fabienne to call on - from having her pick things up, drop things off, help with scheduling, contact vendors, deal with mishaps, Fabienne from Actualite Event & Design was there whenever we needed her. She was always calm, cool, and collected - never made me feel anxious or worried, was always on my side when it came to dealing with vendors, and truly knew exactly what she was doing. Our small wedding was pretty much perfect, and I really do not think it would have been that way without her and her assistant. From the moment we met with Fabienne to discuss things, she has been a complete pleasure to deal with. She made the entire process much easier.. My wedding day flowed smoothly and I really didn't have to worry about timelines or schedules. I didn't have to wear a watch, carry a phone of even try to memorize the schedule of events on the day of.
Fabienne and her team contacted all of our vendors weeks before the event to organize and coordinate with everyone. Every vendor commented on how wonderful and easy it was to work with Fabienne. I would recommend her to all of my family and friends. She is well worth her weight in gold!

Fabienn, Where do I begin to tell the story of how she gracefully planned our entire wedding, I will begin with our very first phone call. She personally answered and already knew what I was looking for and knew the best vendor recommendations for our wedding. Plus, to top it off she lived right across from the venue we chose! She could not have made it anymore easy and clear for me. After getting off the phone with her, our conversation made such an impression, we hired her immediately and feel so blessed that we did. Not only was she an expert event planner, she also had skills in venue design! She made sure our wedding would be extremely beautiful and it ended up being perfect. We don't have anything but positive things to say about Actualité Event & Design ! We had Fabienne as our day-of coordinator, but her communication from the beginning was top notch. She was available for texts, phone calls, and emails whenever we had questions, and she would always respond promptly. In addition, whenever we needed vendor recommendations, she was able to help us with recommendations, from our florist to the DJ, and even the string lights and table linens. We can't thank Fabienne enough for helping our big day go so smoothly. Most of all, we appreciate that her team was professional, kept to the time schedule, and stayed calm no matter what issues came up. It was easily one of the best decisions we could have made to help us through the wedding planing process. From start to finish I was very happy to be working with Fabienne. I was excited to be in a community center space where I knew I would have enough space for my guests, but to be honest, I was nervous about how everything would "look". At the end of the day, I knew it wouldn't matter because I was going to marry the man of my dreams, but Fabienne and her team DEFINITELY put the icing on the cake. Leading up to the event, I was very impressed with how responsive she was and HONEST. I thought I wanted some things, but she would give her opinion as to how she thought it'd go with the other things I had requested, and in the end I was very happy to let her do her thing. Seeing the before and after of the community center, was a complete makeover. Everything was ready to go the day of the wedding. Because I knew I'd be busy with my husband the day of, I had my dad communicating with Fabienne and he was very impressed with her and her team. What do you love most about your job?
The experiences of putting together small and big events. All rolled together in which helped me realize that no matter what levels of experience someone has in creating something new. My motto in life and as an event planner is that if you have an idea and the passion for something, just go for it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had the wonderful experience to have been educated at Florida Gulf Coast University by obtaining my Bachelor in Sociology and Minor in Arts. It was there that my passion for the Arts was nurtured, and grew to be an all-encompassing facet of my life. I see the value in arts and culture on so many societal levels. I found my calling for Event planning and Coordinating as I started hosting and planning small gatherings, dinners, and Local Fashion shows.
