Used Younique when we wanted to update and extend our main bathroom. We met with Brian in the initial meeting and formed an instant repoire and the information he shared about the process had us very excited to work with him. Unfortunately Brian left Younique shortly after our meeting so a lot of details were not transfered which created a bit of confusion at the start and created expectations on our oart that led to frustrations. Overall we were happy with the design and when it was all said and done we love our bathroom. Not to say there werent issues but what project ever goes smoothly. Regardless of the sub contractor and manufacturer issues Andrew really worked hard to resolve and ensure we were satisfied. Its rare that a project with the delays and issues experienced stayed within budget but Andrew made sure we werent impacted. The staff and sub contractors we came in contact with were all very nice . unfortunately with that many people working on a project you get different standards of work which can be challenging. Andrew was always open to hearing our concerns and working to resolve. The only feedback I woukd provide is the level of detail as it relates to workback scedules - the more infornation the better ! I had to constantly ask about details to feel comfident the work was included in the scope. Andrew was great and always answered my questions promptly and took time to help ne understand. Coming from an environment that relied heavily on strong project managemnt skills I see they have the foundations in place and have a strong desire to improve as they grow to ensure they are providing positive experiences for their customers. We recently had our en-suite bathroom renovated by YouNique, and are very happy with the result. We thought Rebecca was great and appreciated being able to have back-and-forths with her as the project progressed. During one of her site visits, she even took our dog out for a walk when we were unable to take him. Nick, Josh and Bill provided excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. Every reno has its challenges and hiccups, but they were incredibly responsive, accommodating and professional in their work. We decided to work with YouNique when we took on a major renovation project in our “new to us” home. YouNique was by far the best contractor involved in terms of quality, value for money and customer service. We had a general idea of what we wanted, and how we wanted everything to look, but YouNique was able to help us pull it all together. The work was completed exactly as scheduled, and not one detail was missed. Not only was the design team a pleasure to work with, the installers who worked on-site were fantastic. YouNique strived to make sure that we were happy every step of the way. We decided to remove our laminate countertops and install a backsplash to update the kitchen in our new builder home. We found YouNique through an online search for Cambria dealers in Toronto. They were very helpful and answered all my questions and provided detailed, professional advice. The installation of Cambria quartz was quick and the end result is beautiful. The installation of backsplash tile was completed quickly and professionally. We would recommend YouNique to anyone looking for an update or complete renovation. I love my new ensuite bathroom and kitchen upgrade done by YouNique Kitchens & Bath of Cobourg, ON. Bethany and Andrew Sloggett ensured that all of the workmanship was done to a high standard and any issues that arose during the remodel were quickly resolved. Special thanks to Kim Brouwer who did my design work and helped with the selection of all the tile, paint, counters and fixtures. Also thanks to Mike Wessbecher, Kevin Materi, and all of the other tradesmen from Lakeland Multi-trade who did most of the physical work. Bill and Monika helped us renovate our 3 bathrooms. They listened to our needs, made designed recommendations within our preferred style and worked within our budget and timeline. They were very polite, considerate and addressed our concerns promptly. The entire renovation process was carried out with minimal stress. Bill's attention to detail like installing hinged door stoppers without us asking made it feel like he cared about our bathrooms like they were his own. I was referred to Bethany through a close personal friend and her company came highly recommended. Our renovation started out to be just an island in our kitchen. I realized after meeting her that she is a professional designer who really knows her stuff. Our renovations soon morphed into an entire new kitchen and we couldn't be more pleased. This is a family owned business that truely cares about their clients. This became crystal clear to me in May after my Mom suffered a catastrophic stroke and Bethany was there for me offering compassion and understanding. The team at YouNique Kitchens and Bath are all like family and we have become fond of all of them. Andrew, Henry and Malcolm are amazing. Their skill and ability and attention to detail have made this a truly amazing experience for us. So then the renovation once again morphed as we went in search of prefabricated storage units for our hall closets. No such luck!!!... We could not find anything that was suitable. We were so pleased with our new kitchen that Bethany and the rest of her team designed and installed that we asked her to design our custom built in closets. Amazing!!!! First class work. Arrived when they said they would and completed on time (the crew even stayed until 4am on the last day to ensure they made their promised delivery date - very impressive), and on budget. Unforeseen issues (very few and all arising from structures behind walls) were handled quickly and effectively.
