I couldn't imagine life without Wooftopia. Dez and the wonderful staff have created a magical place that's become a second home to Harlow. If you're looking for a positive environment that nurtures, encourages proper socialization, and just lets a dog be a dog - this is the place.Harlow was very timid when he came into our lives 9 months ago. We started classes right away. Dez recommended the benefits of daycare and she was right. He LOVES daycare and has been going 2-3 times a week. He has made a few BFF's and loves cuddles with his aunties and uncles. Their groomers are amazing. Booking a full groom also lets them enjoy daycare instead of being stuck in a kennel. While at daycare, dogs can get their nails trimmed, bathed and brushed - which is not only convenient but less stressful for the dog. This place is amazing for anyone that has a dog! They have a lot to offer such as daycare, boarding, store with treats and toys and training (class or individual). My dog has participated in daycare and the basic obedience class. What a difference these have made for him! Even though everything I stated is awesome, the number one thing that makes this place amazing is the staff. They are such amazing people with a soft spot for dogs and want the best for your pups! My dog is a dog that wants all the snuggles from the aunties and uncles during daycare and not much for playing with the other dogs. The staff always are so positive with him even though he can be clingy (and probably annoy them sometimes). I appreciate everything they do and so does little Hershey! Thank you for all you do! Took our dog there for reactive training classes. Helped our dog become less reactive to other dogs and people. Can't speak about the daycare as I haven't used that service. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful

Haven't had the opportunity to leave one of my dogs here, but was honored to bring the yes I can program, and while there, was very impressed with the facility and with the lovely young women running it. Dez and the rest of the team at Wooftopia are just fantastic, I can't say enough good things about this place. My dog has been known to be a bit of a bully at day camp and sometimes has poor socialization skills, but I always feel confident that he is having a great day and is also well taken care of - the entire team are well trained at noticing bad body language and do correct any bad behavior, instead of him being left to his own devices and never corrected - causing any wrong behavior to continue. I really enjoy the videos/updates from the team while he is there and the report card detailing his day after I have picked him up! I will be bringing him here for many years to come! More...

Our dog always comes back tired, he looks like he's having a blast in the videos they post online. We dropped him off for a big haircut and when he was returned to us with hair longer than we wanted they apologized and immediately booked him back in at no charge to clip his hair shorter for us. I know Desiree Klippenstein, owner of Wooftopia, from the work she does with local dog rescue, Manitoba Underdogs. I have come to know her as a tremendous resource. She is a lover of dogs, but more importantly she is experienced and skilled in dealing with all types of dogs from shy, nervous and withdrawn to overly bold, reactive, and kinda naughty. As soon as the doors of Wooftopia opened, I knew I wanted my two rescue dogs, Vito and Frankie, to attend Daycamp and training classes with Dez and her excellent staff. We are so pleased with with our experience, thus far. Wooftopia is welcoming, loving and supportive, focused on addressing our dog's individual needs in a positive, spacious, proactive environment. In a relatively short period of time, we are seeing positive results. Our dogs love attending Day Camp at Wooftopia and we feel confident sending them there!! We couldn't be happier finding a safe happy environment for our our dog Layla.The staff are amazing!! The classes they offer & training are phenomenal what a change in Layla. We had an emergency and had to board Layla for a while ,The best part of it was in home boarding & knowing she was safe & our instructor Leesa was Awesome & Layla came back knowing even more & what a positive change!! We bring our puppy and our foster dog to Wooftopia about once a week and we would bring them more often if we could!! The staff are super friendly and they always let us know how our dogs did that day. I take my cute wiener dog to Wooftopia to get his nails clipped. He is a rescue pup and takes a while to warm up to other people. The first time I took him in he was obviously a little nervous. It took one appointment for him to get comfortable with the girls and the nail clipping process. I am very comfortable taking him in and everyone at Wooftopia is fantastic. We adopted our pup through Manitoba Underdogs he is almost 7 months old.
I was a little skeptical at first to start dog classes because I didn’t know what to expect, I have never done anything like this before.

We started with the weekly Puppy Mannerism class and it was so great! So then we decided to jump right into the Novice 1 class, and although some days are tough I wouldn’t change it for the world! This is bonding time with me and my pup! We love it! We live 45 minutes away but I would NEVER consider moving to a closer training facility. Desiree is a wonderful, patient teacher! She works with her dog Callie to explain and show us what we’re suppose to be doing. They both have excellent teaching skills, Des is very thorough and has everyone involved. She walks around the room monitor our teaching/training ways, she corrects when ever necessary. Although there is a lot of noise from the training dogs barking the classes are not chaotic, they are structured and fun. We get a weekly email highlighting the last class and reiterating our home training. These classes don’t feel like work, they encouraging me to be the best dog Mom I can be! Thanks Wooftopia! ������

Athena always comes home happy and super tired from playing with all her friends and aunties!

She has also learned alot from the obedience classes and agility classes taught here. The teachers are very patient and have alot of good advice. It's nice bringing your dog to a place where they want to see not only your dog, but you as a dog owner learn how to properly learn commands and tricks and see you're dog succeed. They get more enthusiastic when Athena learns something knew than I do!

I strongly recommend taking your dog to wooftopia for both daycare and classes. You won't be disappointed. More...

We have been bring our boy to Wooftopia now for three weeks! He goes once a week for the a full day of day camp! Gilbert never knew how to actually socialize and be a dog, he would bark, jump, and freak out when he saw another dog, since he's been going to Wooftopia he has been able to socialize make friends and actually enjoy himself! I have seen a positive growth in his personality which is amazing.

The staff at Wooftopia care for each and every dog, when I drop my boy off he is so excited to see whoever comes to get him and is never scared. The owner Dez, is amazing she is so positive, caring and completely passionate about each dog who comes there which makes me know I'm doing the right thing for Gilbert.

Bring my boy to Wooftopia is one of the best things we could have done for him!

Amazing! I was new to Winnipeg and no place was more recommended than Wooftopia, with good reason! This is Duke’s favourite place, and loves his aunties more than his squeaky toys! They always remember him when we walk in, even though we only come to daycare once every 2 weeks. Thanks to everyone at Wooftopia for making us feel welcome in a new city!! Also highly recommend training with Sarah, Duke is learning so much and quickly and enjoying every minute. Even though he was very noisy his first few classes and I was feeling nervous brining him into a room full of dogs, Sarah made us feel comfortable and welcome and we haven’t looked back. I visited Wooftopia today after being referred to them by a coworker. She takes her fur baby there for daycare and told me I should go there for an assessment of our dog, Hulk. When she had initially told me about them I can honestly say I was a bit narcissistic that they would be the same as one other daycare/trainer I had spoken to, disingenuous about wanting to help Hulk and not interested in his individual needs or my concerns with his behaviour.

When I called them, I don't exactly remember who I spoke to, I think it might have been Desiree, but she actually listened to everything I was concerned about, and it felt completely sincere. And this was just over the phone! After I brought him in and had the assessment done, I felt a wave of relief because I could see her passion and love for dogs, she truly wanted to help and bring out the best in our dog.

I could tell when she was talking to me about Hulk during the assessment that she was not trying to label him as anything, she was actually highlighting specific positive attributes my big guy had, but also spoke about the not so positive ones and the things that really needed to be worked on.

I instantly wanted to have my dog there and I will definitely feel good leaving him there for long hours at a time because the staff seemed very warm, loving and passionate about what they do.

I just wanted to say thank you to Desiree for giving me the peace of mind about my dog that I needed and the advice I needed to hear. I am extremely anxious to see the positive results I know will happen with time! More...

was refered to Wooftopia from another daycare to help with my dogs behaviour. It has been a great experience so far. All the aunties and uncles care so much about the dogs they look after; Des is always as accommodating as possible too when it comes to trying to get my boys in for the day. They enter the building excited and ready to play and then are relaxed and well behaved after getting out all that energy. Wooftopia staff are very flexible and do their best to accommodate all if their furry friends! We have used their grooming services, and daycare without complaints! Our dog Kevin loves going back and dogs know best!

My only suggestion would be if you plan to get grooming, expect an unexpected cost or ask to be notified of the estimate. The website says you will be provided with an estimate for services but I have never personally been provided one up front or called for additional details that would add to the cost. Some times the cost has been more than the last or expected amount from their price list online.

While pricing is expected to vary by dog, and in our case the additional cost was justified due to higher maintenance service needed (unexpected dematting), I would hate to see anyone in a position where the unexpected cost would prevent them from returning.
