I had a tree beside my house that has died to a bug infestation. I called and spoke with Stacey at Tree Doctors and she sent someone out to inspect the tree and give me an estimate. The man that did the inspection was very polite and explained that they could remove the tree, and even plant a new tree for me. Cory and his crew arrived later that week and cut the tree down, and dug out the stump. I was upset that I had to lose the tree, so I was very happy that they put a new one in its place for me. My husband wanted to have some trees planted along the side of our property for cosmetic and privacy reasons. We had a couple small stumps in our yard that the kids kept tripping over when they were out playing. I just recently bought a new property, and I could tell the trees were in some pretty rough shape! I called the Tree Doctors and Mechelle sent someone out for an estimate right away. Glen came out to the property and I walked him around to show him all of the trees. We needed some serious trimming and pruning done. He gave me a very nice price for all of the work, and scheduled a crew to come out for me. The guys did a very wonderful job trimming up the trees. Once again I decided to have the Tree Doctors come out to decorate the trees around my house for the Holidays! I spoke with Mechelle this time, and she was extremely friendly, and willing to go over the services they had to offer. I have a group of trees that are growing closely together, we noticed the branches of one tree were extending out and blocking the growth of the other trees. The other trees were looking lopsided as the branches were growing up instead of out. I called the tree guys to see if there was anything that could be done to help the cluster look better and to help the growth of the other trees. Adam was very knowledgeable and able to walk us through which trees would need trimmed. After we got the estimate, David and his team came out and got the trees trimmed. They even cleaned up after they were done! My little cluster looks so much better now and they advised that additional trimming may be necessary in a few years to help encourage growth in the right areas. My twin blue spruces required some tree maintenance and called Tree Drs. I was given an appointment window ( 3hrs ) two days after my call. The crew ( Malcolm, Andrew, Matthew) arrived on time and introduced themselves and explained how best to tackle the problem. I asked many questions ( often) during their work and at no time did they appeared annoyed or frustrated. If anything they took time out and reassured me things would go as discussed.They did a GREAT job, looks neat and tidy. They cleaned up and left the site damage free ( no broken flowers/bushes).
In addition I must mention that during the chipping process of the downed limbs, my 85 yr. old neighbor ( who just lost her husband ) asked me if the crew could chip some of her branches. Apparently they were left over from an "completed job" by a competitor she had hired a week earlier ( unfortunately she paid in advance). AMAZING! I was so impressed with the price I had them trim another smaller tree in our yard as well. He had men that came out on a weekday. They were here all day as promised and I couldn't believe how hard these guys worked. It was an all day job but I couldn't believe the difference when I got home. We hired Tree Doctors in late 2013 to Prune a maple tree and a large oaks in our front yard. We could not be happier with the service that we received, we were kept informed exactly what was happening when through a clearly worded contract and phone calls reminding us when the crew would be here. They were extremely professional and responsive. Tree Doctors Service was pleasant to deal with over the phone as well as in person. You really don't get that from all landscaping/tree service people. I must have contracted at least 30 companies before going with Tree Doctors Service. We have a tree with branches hanging over our neighbor’s yard that needed pruning. Our neighbors were very worried about the tree service crew being in their yard and potentially damaging their plants and bushes, but Terry spoke with them and assure them that that would not happen. The crew set to work immediately and handled pruning the branches on my property as well as the branches on the other side of the fence quickly. I just had a huge Rubber Tree removed at my house as well as Birds of Paradise. This crew was wonderful! They cleaned up so well and even took extra leaves that were piling up away for me as well as old Christmas lights on a tree! I hired a tree service to handle my yearly tree pruning, but was disappointed in the results. They did not do the job as completely as I had hoped they would, however, I was at work the day they came so I could not tell them that the day of the job. Rather than argue with them and waste time having them back, I called in Tree Doctors and asked them to complete the job and clean up the mess the previous company left. I could not be happier about the work Tree Doctors did in my yard! I asked them to come out and take a look to see what needed to be done as we had not had a tree service come out in over two years. I was surprised when the Tree Doctors estimator said most of the trees looked good and needed very little work. I must admit that I am several lacking when it comes to green thumbs. I bought a house with beautiful landscaping, but after five years of only basic upkeep, it was in shambles. I called around to several tree service companies to get bids and while I admit the property needed a lot of work, I was surprised by some of the bids. Tree Doctors offered the lowest bid, so I called them up to set up an appointment. While I was worried about the quality of work, it turns out they were fantastic! We had a damaged cherry tree 5' from our house and hanging over the main power lines for the neighbourhood. I wanted an arbourist who knew what they were doing and was well insured. I'm very happy with the crew they sent. They were professional, skilled and very friendly. They aren't the cheapest deal in town but they are fully-insured and they take care of everything. They even raked up the lawn and used a leaf blower to clean off the driveway. The only thing they left behind was sawdust. It was late in the season and we still did not get around to doing one last job before Winter set in. One of our trees had died this Autumn from Canker Disease with the bark splitting open on the trunk and we required the tree stump removed. We had purchased a Maple Tree as a replacement and a Bloodgood Japanese Maple as well to compliment the landscape. Since it was already December; I was certain that it was too late to complete this project. I contacted Tree Doctors Inc on a Wednesday. Their Customer Service Representatives Melody and Mechelle were very friendly and helpful in setting up an appointment with the Arborist and answering all my questions and concerns. The Arborist, Glen was out the next day and provided us with an estimate. Glen was very knowledgeable, informative, professional and worked out the project to fit our tight budget. By Friday Olga; the Scheduling Manager had sent both a text and email to confirm that the work was scheduled for the coming Monday; also indicating an expected time of arrival. Eric, the Stump Grinder Operator was punctual, courteous, conscientious and worked efficiently to ensure no damage was done with the heavy equipment and completed the stump grinding and planting of the two trees. Our experience with Tree Doctors Inc from start to finish was very refreshing, professional as they were very accommodating and would not hesitate to recommend Tree Doctors for any type of Tree Service.
